Last to Die, book 10 in the Rizzoli & Isles series, is expected to be released in September 2012! Is everybody ready?

message 2: by Daniel (new)

Daniel Beegan (PadreDan) | 10 comments I am clearly ready. This is a bit off Tess's usual schedule, which would have the new book released in June or July. But given her mother's death and various professional commitments, I'm pleased we are getting a new book at all this year.

One of the yearly highpoints in my book life is a new Rizzoli and Isles novel.

I hadn't heard about her mother's death. I've been so busy at work that I haven't been following Tess' blog on a regular basis.

Daniel Beegan (PadreDan) | 10 comments While Tess's mom was in an assisted living facility, Tess was her major caregiver, which took up a lot of time.

Tracy That is a sad thing to happen to someone. We are very lucky to get a book by her then. I suppose it helped take her mind off things, at least I hope it did.

Mike Thomas | 2 comments Hi all, the new book, The Last To Die is now available to pre-order on amazon.co.uk, released on 28th August, great news, as I have read all the others, will probably re-read the killing place and silent girl before the new one's out....

Samantha (sammy9214) | 2 comments I cannot wait for this book to come out! Ready for it now as I'm running out of books to read

running out of books to read? that's never been a problem for me :-) or do you mean running out of books to read in the Rizzoli & Isles series?

J.A. Schneider (jaschneider) | 13 comments Hi,

I love thrillers & medical thrillers & have just joined this group.

Which Rizzoli & Isles would you most recommend that I read first?

Many thanks,
Joyce

Jannene I would start with the first one. It is one of the best anyway. You learn the characters.

Tracy I am definitely ready. It has been a while since I have read a Rizzoli &Isles.

J.A. Schneider (jaschneider) | 13 comments Tracy, do you have a favorite Rizzoli & Isles?

Dustin the wind Crazy little brown owl (dustpancrazy) | 568 comments Mod
If you want to try a stand-alone, I recommend The Bone Garden :-) Otherwise the Rizzoli & Isles series is best starting with book one, The Surgeon.

I would have to say my favorite R&I is Ice Cold. Not sure why but I loved that book. It was a break from the others that are mainly about Jane and I really fell in love with Rat.

Jessica | 1 comments I cannot wait for the new book to come out. I started to listen to the audiobooks last June starting with the first one and finished them by August. I have reread all of them and they were as great the second time as the first. My favorite book was Ice Cold or Vanish or the Mephisto Club was a good one too! I love them all its hard to choose. I really loved the Bone Garden how it went back and forth between the 1800 and now. She did great research on it too!

Tracy It's not long now. Just nine more days.

The Bone Garden was the first novel I read by Tess and I was hooked from the first page. Since then I have read several and plan to get her other novels in the future.

Excellent! A new Rizzoli & Isles Novel is scheduled to be published in August, so you have time to catch up if you haven't read them all yet.
