Many of these are good enough that if they were cover art
I'd buy the book.

I like the strolling on the open deck of an airplane/space ship...
and who are the poor smucks working out on the tip of the wing?

I keep thinking that whoever ends up in this kind of sickbay
is going to have an alien facehugger stuck down their throat.
Important safety tip-

I noticed that it's always raining in the off world colonies
That, and you need a gun. A really big gun.
...and not one of those Buck roger ray guns.
Nope, its always something one step below a cannon
One that splatters people all over the side walk
In the rain.
Heck if I want a crime ridden city with rotten weather
who needs a space ship?
I'll just go to Baltamore.

( I do wish other folks would post art as well)

I would like to recommend some sites where you can find a lot of good art/eye candy.
If you haven't heard of it there is a Fantasy and Sci-Fi magazine name ImagineFX. They have a bustling online forum and galleries where readers and professionals can upload their artwork. A lot of fantastic art can be found there:

Also there is a blog named Muddy Colors where several professional(and to me legendary illustrators) contribute with illustrations and showcase their creative process. I really recommend it for those of you who are interested in art.

Hope you enjoy my recommendations ^^

William Gibson did an interview with the Paris Review where the interviewer noted Gibson's Sprawl trilogy is often called dystopian, and he responded, "Well, maybe if you’re some middle-class person from the Midwest...[t]he world is filled with much nastier places than my inventions."

Many of these would be great cover art for a paperback-

Complete with dripping sarcasm.

Both the scifi and fantasy art are good.
Although it seems to me that the scifi art is a bit stronger.
Perhaps it's just that the scifi art is more detailed.
Folks may not want their fantasies in high res.

It's a good selection.
The movies weren't always as good as the posters
but that's the not artist fault.

(smile)

If you get a chance , definitely visit the Stockholm subway.
It's like walking onto the set of a science fiction novel.
