Hey guys, currently reading The Night Circus and The Fault in Our Stars... :) That series is pretty good Carrie, I've read up to book 3, I believe...
I'm reading 10 books at the moment (I'm like that). But the three main books out of those 10 that I am reading the most is 'Of Mice and Men' by John Steinbeck, 'Knife Edge' by Malorie Blackman (who apparently cam to my school twice and I missed her both of those times :( ) and the Specials in the Uglies Series. I'm a fan of Dystopian YA novels.
I want to read The Fault in Our Stars! I think I have it on my to-read list. I read Of Mice and Men for my English class and I loved it! And I'll definitely have to check out Divergent! [:
I'm reading Divergent but can't make a good judgement on it since I'm only a chapter in :)
Let me know what you think when you're done! I probably won't be able to get to it for a month-ish. I'm only about halfway through Eldest, and then there are two books left in the series. I looked at the description of it though, and it seemed really interesting. [:
I've read Divergent... it was BRILLIANT. I loved it. The sequel comes out this year!! Ah!!! Sorry, I really love that book hehe
That's what I don't like about series, you have to wait for the next book to come out! I like reading them when they're years old and I can just read them one right after another. [: How long until the sequel comes out?
:( May 1st! And yeah, you're right, it's a pain in the kisser... by the way, thanks for the group invite! :D
Oh, that's not too far away, hooray! You're welcome! Everyone should invite more people so that... there are more people on here. [:
I'm currently doing a Tamora Pierce read through. I love her! I'm reading Mastiff right now :)She's a brilliant YA author. Her Tortall series are a a compilation of three four book series, one two book series, and one three book series, plus an extra book at the end. These books are based around strong female leads. She also has three books in the works for this land. (One is a female lead, two are the past of a man mentioned in in her second series for this land)
She also has books from a land known as Emelan which I haven't read yet but supposedly they're really good! However they are not centered around strong female leads like her Tortall books. There are two males and two females I'm sure. And there's two four book series, and two books that are set in the land but I'm not too sure about them.
Hi guys! If you're interesting in reading good fantasy books check out Maria V. Snyder. Just finished A Touch of Power by her and loved it!
I'm also awaiting the release of a book. 'The Death Cure' in the Maze Runner Trilogy (by James Dashner) If you're a fan of YA dystopia, post-apocalypse books you'll really love this series. Many people on Goodread seem not to like how it is written however I really enjoyed the first two book and am anticipating the next book.
I'm never gonna have enough time to read all these books! I'm going to have to either drop out of school, or stop sleeping. :b
I'm re-reading Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins right now but I only have about 100 pages left. After that I plan on reading Catching Fire and Mockingjay (2 and 3 in the Hunger Games series). I got those in the mail today (finally, been waiting over a week for them to arrive).
Oh! What did you think of The Hunger Games? I'm afraid that once I read it I'll be disappointed because my hopes were built up too high
I also loved the Hunger Games, but I read them quite a long time ago. So it feels like "been there, done that" when the craze finally comes along.
The same thing happened with Twilight. I did enjoyed the series when I was reading it, but when the movies came out it kinda ruined it for me! :( Although I am really excited for the Hunger Games movie. I have VERY high expectations for it. I just hope I am not disappointed...
Twilight honestly was a interesting book! I enjoyed the first one, but after that, they slowly declined in "goodness". Most people give it crap because of its popularity.
Excited for the movie as well. I really do hope that it gives the book justice because I don't want to be disappointed again by poor book to movie adaptation. :(
I agree. The trailer does make it seem amazing! I think they did a good job at chosing actors too, but we will see...

At the moment, I'm reading Eldest (Inheritance #2) by Christopher Paolini. This is the first fantasy book I've ever read. I read all genres of books, so I'm open to all different recommendations!
