I gave a 5/5 for the one I read last month. I already selected but haven't started reading the one for this month.
I'm not sure whether this is the right place to put my referral, but my novel is called zed ... and clare recommend that I join this.
The one I read was pretty good, I think I gave it four stars, it was sort of between three and four but closer to four. It was good. I wrote a review and the author thanked me.

No need to register. All you do is put your book on the bookshelf and buy a book from a fellow author in this group. We prefer you buy one from an author who participates a lot in the group but since you're new, you won't know that and should just buy one that looks interesting. Then come back here and tell us you bought the book but not which book it is. Then read it and review it on Amazon and Goodreads.

I am about half way through mine. My working month for this project is from the 15th to the 15th :)So far, my evil plan book is quite good.
Elle,Thanks for coming up with this amazing idea.
I just read one of the best reviews ever of my book Careful What You Wish For... from a fellow group member.
I finished my review last weekend, of Pandora's Key, and posted it, and I will pick another book for next month's part of the plan.
Wow! Go to amazon and check out the review - You'll be very happy with what you've created here.
Paula
I'm excited to do this, let me make sure I've got it straight. 1-put my book on the bookshelf
2-pick up a different book by an author here
3-read and review in a month

Hey Juliann,
Yes, that's the Evil Plan.
What do you write?
Paula
I love evil plans! I'm in. My fantasy novel, The Five Elements, has been added, and I just picked up someone else's book to read/review.

Juliann,I write Romantic Suspense - Thrillers with a romantic twist - you know, the best of both worlds.
One of my current WIPs has a dragon, and I just took a workshop on writing Young Adult.

I read Displaced by Elle LaPraim. Enjoyed it well enough, but I'm not a big fan of short stories. Gave it a three out of five.

So far pretty good! I'll up date when I'm finished!
P.S. To Elle, this is an excellent "Plan"! Thanks to you!
I picked my book, read a couple of chapters and got an idea for a book of my own, which in the mysterious ways of creativity, is nothing like the book I am reading. Now I am torn between reading the book I have or writing the book I am thinking of. What a dilemma... ;)

It helps a little allowing more opportunities to write. Plus, you have access to it on you PC as well so you can pick up where you left off.
There's my two cents, hope it helps!
Oh, and good luck!
Good morning everyone! I don't have a book to add to the bookshelf yet (although I soon will, hopefully) but I've just downloaded Elle's The Colors of Qu, so count me in on the evil plan!
Scrub what I just said - my download hasn't worked! Elle, how do I get hold of your books in the UK?
Time management is only a small part of the problem. The real problem is that my novel projects to do list is creeping up into double digits and it takes a lot of time to write those things. :)!

Hi Elizabeth,
Thank you so much for wanting to read my short story. I don't know why it would not download for you. I have sold books in the UK this month, so I don't know what the problem is.If there is anything I can do to help, let me know. Where in the UK are you from? I use to live in London.

Hi Elle, I have to download from Amazon.co.uk and it's not bringing anything up under your name or the book title.
I live in Derbyshire - very pretty with lots of hills. Very quiet compared to London!

I have heard of your hometown. I went to Amazon UK and saw all my books up there. Are you trying to buy it on the Nook or the Kindle?

Not an author, but was so thrilled to find a well-written actual straight sci-fi book last month (not a sniff of the supernatural)that I gave it 5 stars here and on Amazon.Still looking for this month.

Hi Rosemarie,
I just wanted to say thank you for participating. I think you're on of your few non-authors who is on board. I just wanted to let you know how grateful we are for your support.

Hello everyone. I am John Marvin Enore. I have written three poetry collections. they are all sad erotic gay poetry. If you're interested with my books, please send me a message and i can give you a sampler. The tiles are CYPHILIA, ARGELLIUS REX and L'AMOUR DE MOI. I'll be waiting. I will soon give out a free ebook of my short novella entitled The Suicide Pact. It is about how the world was created, why do we die, what horrors did God's children unleashed into this Earth, why suicides get a second chance to live, a failed abortion, cannibalism, violence and someone jumping out of the window. The first person who will give me a review will get a pdf version of one of my poetry collections.
I'm getting in a little late on the evil plan but I think it's a great idea. I just added my book to the bookshelf and now am going to go pick the book I will read. Thanks, Elle, for this evil plan! Bwaahaahaa.....

I read (and reviewed) FALLING IMMORTALITY by Robert Downs and recommend it highly to PI buffs in the group.

Hello all, just finished Elle's story The Color of Qua. The review is here on goodreads and on my blog at:

NOTE:
Just a little reminder as always. You don't have to put the name of the book you bought on this page. BUT if you want to, you are more than welcome to. Plus, if you really liked the book you read and reviewed, then please feel free to let us know here as well. After you read the book, please post your reviews on Goodreads as well as Amazon and any other you feel like, but definitely those because they are the most helpful to the authors.
