Lena smiled, playing in the water.

Lina stepped quietly on the bank of the lake. She breathed in the relaxing smell of water, so unlike the ocean she had come to both hate and fear. In the distance she spotted a girl by the edge of the lake. She stepped behind her and spoke. "Hello," she said, startling the girl, who she now saw could not be more than sixteen. "I am Lina."

Aquarius walked to the lake, then jumped into the water. Her legs morphed into a mermaid tail.

Lena looked at where the splash came from. "Hm."

Aquarius heard a muffled noise. She poked her head out of the water, looking to see if another person was there.

"So it was you who made that noise." Lena said, swimming over to where she was.

"Yep." Aquarius said, wondering what kind of creature Lena was.

She smiled. "So who are you?"

"I'm Aquarius, I'm a mermaid..." she replied, even though Lena probably already knew that. "And you?"

"My name's Lena. I'm an Unseelie faerie. It's nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you, too." Aquarius smiled. "So what are your powers?"

"Like what I can do? Like magic? I control water and ice."

"Yeah. That's cool!" Aquarius smiled. "I can control water, as well.."

She nodded.

Aquarius began to swim around, looking for any trash in the lake. She hated pollution.

"What'cha looking for?"

Aquarius finds a coke can, then holds it up at Lena. "Trash." she answers.

"Oh. I'll help! If you want. But I can't touch anything that's iron. Or steel."

Dianna sat cross-legged under the water watching all the fish and even having conversations with some of them. Fish were such air-heads though so they didn't last that long.
