"Maybe because it focuses on what you should be able to do any time of the day. Even if you feel like you just have waken from sleep." Lilly commented, stepping out of the shadowed corner.
"Then, I supose there is nothing I will do about it, considering I am much too busy thinking much to important things." She said. Turning to look out the window.
"You don't mind if I don't ask what those important things are, do you?" Jared stared on the table, tapping.
"No. But if you posessed any inteligence, you would. Or I can just tell you anyway." Lilly says sounding more sure y the moment. "It's about the differences of the mind between different age groups. I find it easyer to mutate the emotions of elder teens than of younger teens. This comparison is quite easy to understand. I could continue if you would like me to, though I dout you would understand any of it." Lilly continued taking a seat next to him.
Jared rested his head on the table and closes his eyes as Lilly speaks. He didn't really care about what she's trying to tell him, oh great.. I'm stuck with this girl for the entire school year, he thought
Jared stood up and walks out of the door without saying anything to LillyBianca walks in then out then back in. "Great. No teacher," she says, taking her phone and earphones out.
Lilly sighed. She continued her staredown with the window. "If only I could understand the mind as a whole and not just the influene of emtions..." she said under her breath.
"Woah, dudine, I didn't notice you there. You almost gave me a heart attack," Bianca says, a hand on her chest. She drops her hand to her side and approached the girl by the window, "I'm Bianca. Who are you?" she stretches her hand out.
"Uhhh" Lilly looks at the hand extended tword her and took it uncertainly. "I'm Lilly. How are you today?" She shot the girl infront of her a shy grin.
"Uhh, well compared to most days, this is the best yet." Lilly let loose and gave the girl a full blown grin.
"Oh, he didn't tell you his name?" Bianca says, surprised, "yes, rude to every student in this school. He started a fight with a girl in our dorm earlier this morning."
"Somehow I don't find that suprising." Lilly got to thinking again and almost stopped paying attention, she hadn't thought about reading his emotions, that could have been benificial...
"Hmm? I'm sorry, I got distracted. 'Why not' what?" Lilly asked, starting the slow treck bck to reality.
"He seems... hot-headed. And the fact that he was druming his fingers while I was talking sugested he was angry." Lilly shrugged. "I just find it easy to understand peoples emotions and once I know that I can easly see what kind of actions they would put themselves to... I'm blabing again arn't i? Sorry," she said shyly.
"He does that all the time but its either he's annoyed or bored," Bianca paused, "he told me. We're childhood friends."
"Not really," Bianca smiled, "we're not really as close as most people think. It's really hard to be friends with him. Many things irritates him, like people touching him, simple teasing, long conversations, or something like those. A hot head, I suppose."
"Oh." Lilly took out a notebook and jotted a quick note down then turned back Bianca. "How long have you known him?"
"Wow. The only people I have know since I was five is my parents, and they just ship me off somewhere every chance they get... sorry. I'm blabbing again. I always do that." Lilly stared at her closed notebook and wanted to open it, but she didn't because Bianca would never do such a rude thing to her.
"It isn't that bad.. Unless you talk nonstop," she chuckled, "probably I your nature. What's your powers? Can you show it to me?" She asks, avoiding the topic about Lilly's parents, thinking that it isn't a good idea to talk about it. "Mine is.." she trailed off and looked around, searching for something. She sighed and a ball of water appeared on her hands.
Lilly squeeked and jumped in her seat. "I-Is th-that water?" she stutered. "I don't find myself na-naturaly atuned to-to water."
"I could tell he had fire in his heart. But I thuroughly dis-enjoy water. My little sister drownd last year." Lilly paused for a moment and let the memory wash over her. She looked back to Bianca. "But I can control and read human emotions. I want to advance my powers further, but I don't think I have the strength to do it." Lilly looked down at the desk. "Everyone thinks I'm to weak to do everything, but it is not physical power I need."
"Cool! What am I thinking?" Bianca asks, "having that kind of power is amusing, you'll know what your enemy's planning," she smiled.
"I don't actualy read thoughts. I want to, but I can only read emotions as of the moment." She looked into Bianca's eyes and imediantly looked into space again. "You are excited, joyous, and slightly disapointed. Are you not?"
Lilly looked at her uncertainly. "If you don't mind me saying, I think It's quite strange that you and Jared have known eachother for a long period of time, yet you are so... contradicting? Yes, I think thats the word."
"Opisite" ((I dont think I spelled that corectly. Sry)) "You are nice, he is rude. You control wate, him fire. I'm sorry I find this just a little odd."
((Thanks!))"Like the elements themselves... Do you mind If I write this down? I've been told that I should keep my nose out of other peoples buisness but it's just too hard sometimes." She shifted in her seat and thought I would be happy if the teacher never came...
"Yes. It's like heroes and villains. I believe one won't exist, without the other," Bianca smiled, "no, I don't mind at all."
"Thanks!" Lilly tore open her notebook and wrote a long list of notes. She looked up at Bianca. "Are you saying we're being trained for a reson? So you think there are people we are, eventualy going to fight?"
"Maybe, maybe not. So far everything's peaceful," Bianca looked out of the window then back to Lilly, "why do you like writing things down?" she asks.
"Because I forget easly. If I don't write down my ideas before I start thinking of something else I forget. My mind is just to fast for it's own good."
