"Claimed to feature "the greatest ornamental detective" as he searches for missing gnomes, Deadline describes the story, which will feature Gnomeo, Juliet, and their friends, enlisting Sherlock Gnomes' help to find gnomes who have gone missing from suburban gardens in England. But apparently, this Sherlock isn't quite as smart as his human equivalent, and the "crimes against gnomanity" continue to grow as they face a bigger threat than ever imagined. Wow. What's with the new trend of horrible puns in kids films these days? Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel and Chipwrecked, and now Gnomeo & Juliet: Sherlock Gnomes? I don't think I want to know what's next. In any case, original writers Andy Riley and Kevin Cecil are back on board, and original director Kelly Asbury will be a creative consultant this time around. Elton John will executive produce and contribute new original music for the squeakquel, er, sequel."

I'm totally going to watch it.

I mean really how could anyone not like a movie containing a joke reference to everyone of Shakespeare's Plays? Can you tell I'm a Shakespeare junkie? It was so funny and thought that they did a great job of having fun with The Bard without making fun of him.
I hope the sequel is good.

I love gnomes! I had heard mixed things about Gnomeo and Juliet, so I didn't see it in the theaters. I want to be better with my shakespeare but I can barely tell the plays apart :( I love Wodehouse and Jeeves always quotes Shakespeare and it goes over my head.
