Dalakis Academy discussion

Tessa ran across the field, kicking a soccer ball. She loved sports, and tried to practice a lot. She hadn't notice him follow her out, and didn't know anyone was watching

He walked in pretending he was coming to practise lactoss

Tessa kicked a few goals, still not seeing him

He dropped his bag as he laced up his shoes letting her finish

Tessa turned slightly, and saw him. She froze for a second, unsure what to do. She didn't really want to be alone with him, but he'd know something was up if she left, because she hadn't even been practicing for ten minutes. She crossed her arms and stood there.

((What kinds of classes are you taking? I could help you study maybe? Because your kindle typo's are kind of annoying))

((Haha, yeah sorry about that. I'm taking English, history, math, introduction to earth science (science), and Italian))


'Continue, I was going to practise but you were here first." He said softly

Tessa kicked the ground, frustrated, "I've never seen you practice before." She accused. She was a bit drunk, and that made her less shy than normal

"Because I usually practise on the football veils but the jocks are having a bon fire there tonight."

Tessa ran her fingers through her hair, unsure. "Okay. Let's see what you've got. I'll play against you. Lacrossse, right?"

He nodded. "Listen, I'm sorry about being a jerk and sleazy." He sighed

Tessa's eyes narrowed, "Never-mind. I don't want to play anymore." She shook her head, why did he have to lie to her? And he's been eavesdropping when she was talking to Keller. She crossed her arms, adn turned away from him

"I have super hearing, I'm sir y I didn't mean to eaves drop." He whispered his features softening in apology

Tessa wasn't facing him, so she didn't see. "Please just stop." she whispered, her voice cracked and she started to cry

He frowned and placed a hand gently on her shoulder. "Please don't cry."

Tessa jerked away from his touch, "Joshua...."

He shoved his.hands in his pockets. "Sorry, Texas I'm not good with girls. Espically you, but please. Crying breaks my heart"

Tessa made an effort to stop crying, but didn't look at him

He frowned and looked at her. "I will just leave." He went to go get his bag

Tessa took a deep breath, "You don't have to go." her voice was lower than a whisper

He turned back and nodded. "Can we start over?"

She tilted her head, "You weren't kidding about the good hearing." Tessa tangled her fingers in her necklace nervously, "I'm Tessa." she said, since they were starting over

"Jonah," he held his hand out for her to take

Tessa kept her hand on her necklace. "I'm a shapeshifter." she told him

"I'm a imp. A good one though," he smiled his features soft.

Tessa nodded, "Sure."

"A shapeshifter huh? That is really cool." He smiled

"I'd rather it be useful than cool." Tessa's smile dropped

"It is useful." He whispered

Tessa shrugged, "Not really."

"Yeah it is." He smiled

Tessa crossed her arms, not smiling back. She thought of her past and how being a mouse had made everything worse. She shuddered, "Change the subject please."

"Sure," he smiled and tool in her features. "Listen, I'm really sorry about the past..."

Tessa shook her head, "It's fine. I just want to move on."

He nodded. "Would you like to go for a walk?"

"Okay." Tessa replied, unsure what he was thinking

He thoughts were pure. "If I was to let you see into my head and see.that I wont harm you would you relax more?"

Tessa deliberated, "Probably not." she told him

"Would you trust me?"

"No." Tessa touched her necklace again

He sighed.

Tessa frowned, "Let's go."

He nodded and opened the door gesturing foe her to go first.

Tessa walked out

He sighed and walked next to her.
