Depends. If the author writes it well and the girl stays mainly with one guy and doesn't go back and forth, then yes.

message 4: by Celise (new)

Celise (celise_) Depends for me as well, but generally I love them. For example: just read Vampire Diaries and hated it but in the show 'The Triangle' is the best part.

Paulina Ughh I hate the love triangle in vampire diaries, umm I like the one in evermore

Celise (celise_) Yes, me too!

message 8: by Angela (new)

Angela Shrum (angelattwilight) Yes. When they work right, they are my addiction.

Rachel (rsviolet) | 50 comments my favorite love triangles are in Darkest powers series by kelly armstrong and the ivy series by lauren kunze

message 10: by Angela (new)

Angela Shrum (angelattwilight) Rachel, I'm going to have to look into those. The Summoning has been sitting on my shelf for a long while. Your post makes me want to grab it.

Valencia (empowered) I really don't like them. Yes they sometimes make a story more intriging, but I still don't like them. It's hard for me to explain why without ranting so I'll just leave it at that....

Rachel (rsviolet) | 50 comments Angela! You should definitely start the darkest power series. It is amazingly written!

message 14: by Elena (new)

Elena (summerday) | 1 comments Only if they are well-written and the girl is able to eventually make a definite decision, and doesn't keep going back and forth between the two.

(I don't like love triangles with one guy and two girls. I feel bad for the girl. Guess I'm a little partial here x'D)

I totally agree with you Elena. As long as the girl sticks with one for most of the story I'm good. I think the author should always do that because it makes the story more exciting if there's always another guy in the background.

Caron Rider | 27 comments I guess I'm just a sucker for happy endings. I don't like the triangles because someone is always hurt. So I'm romantic enough that I want everyone to find someone. After all, I'm reading to get away from the "real" world, so I want it happy. :)

message 17: by Celise (new)

Celise (celise_) A comment on Kelley Armstrong. I've read all of her adult novels- Women of the Otherworld seres- but have been hesitant to read her teen selection. From someone who has read both, are they as well written?

message 18: by Rachel (new)

Rachel (rsviolet) | 50 comments i'm not sure about the adult books, but the YA books are written flawlessly.

message 19: by Celise (new)

Celise (celise_) Okay, it's just that I'm used to her more mature writing. Thanks, I'll give the YA ones a try.

message 20: by Valencia (new)

Valencia (empowered) Ok I think I'm in the midst of reading my first true, for real, non-cliched love triangle and it doesn't bother me one bit. I'm actually torn between these two guys............

Oh and the book I'm referring to is Unearthly (Unearthly, #1) by Cynthia Hand best love triangle ever!!!!

Totally agree with you Eileen!

message 23: by Alythia (new)

Alythia Brown (alythiabrown) | 4 comments Sometimes, I love love triangles, sometimes they just frustrate me. Especially when they keep missing the mark and we can see it as readers, but the characters are hopelessly oblivious. (But I think two totally different things when I hear "love triangle" and "threesome" btw LOL!)

message 24: by Renee (new)

Renee I like love triangles, because I always fall in love with the rejected guy...:)

Devora | 7 comments Sometimes, nut others not really like when you really like one it gets kind of annoying at some point.
