Do you like love triangles?

Depends. If the author writes it well and the girl stays mainly with one guy and doesn't go back and forth, then yes.
Depends for me as well, but generally I love them. For example: just read Vampire Diaries and hated it but in the show 'The Triangle' is the best part.
my favorite love triangles are in Darkest powers series by kelly armstrong and the ivy series by lauren kunze
Rachel, I'm going to have to look into those. The Summoning has been sitting on my shelf for a long while. Your post makes me want to grab it.

I really don't like them. Yes they sometimes make a story more intriging, but I still don't like them. It's hard for me to explain why without ranting so I'll just leave it at that....
Only if they are well-written and the girl is able to eventually make a definite decision, and doesn't keep going back and forth between the two.(I don't like love triangles with one guy and two girls. I feel bad for the girl. Guess I'm a little partial here x'D)
I totally agree with you Elena. As long as the girl sticks with one for most of the story I'm good. I think the author should always do that because it makes the story more exciting if there's always another guy in the background.
I guess I'm just a sucker for happy endings. I don't like the triangles because someone is always hurt. So I'm romantic enough that I want everyone to find someone. After all, I'm reading to get away from the "real" world, so I want it happy. :)
A comment on Kelley Armstrong. I've read all of her adult novels- Women of the Otherworld seres- but have been hesitant to read her teen selection. From someone who has read both, are they as well written?
Ok I think I'm in the midst of reading my first true, for real, non-cliched love triangle and it doesn't bother me one bit. I'm actually torn between these two guys............Oh and the book I'm referring to is
best love triangle ever!!!!
Sometimes, I love love triangles, sometimes they just frustrate me. Especially when they keep missing the mark and we can see it as readers, but the characters are hopelessly oblivious. (But I think two totally different things when I hear "love triangle" and "threesome" btw LOL!)
