When I was little I used to think that... God lived behind the sun.

When you were little... what were the weird things you thought?

I used to think that snakes lived in the ball pit.

When I was little I thought there was a leprechaun on my roof. Freaked the hell out of my parents when I was like, "Look Mommy and Daddy! There's a little man!"

I thought that if I made sure to think about how grateful I was that certain parts of my body weren't aching, then they wouldn't ache, or at least it'd happen less.

When I was little I pretended to be a Russian Princess Alien Angel. I'd wrap a blanket around my shoulders and walk around, calling myself, "Babooshka".

When I was little, I used to think that the air in a car was different than what outside, so I didn't get how you could drown when a car went in a lake, river, etc.

When I was little...when I saw a ray of light (that was visible) I thought that someone was dieing there, because in my children's bible that was illistrated, when Jesus went up to heaven, a ray of light shined down.

When I was little, I used to make "potions" out of anything. Water, soap, shampoos and conditioners, grass, flowers, cleanser, all theses different things I would mash together into one bottle, and then try to test them out on the people around me (a.k.a, my unfortunate little sister)

When I was little, I would talk to the insects and animals and tell them all my secrets. At 4, they were my best friends. :P

When I was little, I thought stuffed animals would come alive at night and try to kill me. Needless to say, I never had a "Mr. Cuddles" who slept in the same bed with me when I was younger.

When I was little, I thought there was a monster in my closet. So, whenever I had to grab anything from it, I would drag my poor dog along with me, so she could "protect" me.

When I was little, there was a shadow in the shape of a huge dog the came across my wall every night. I thought this shadow would protect me from intruders and what not. It's name was, and this is the real creative part; Shadow.

when I was little my brothers made me cuss.

My parents made me sing songs with cuss words in it, in front of all their friends, so I know how you feel.

When I was little, I thought of my stuffed animals as protectors, evening naming them names of Celtic and German words for protector and such. For example, the German word for protector is Beschützer and the Celtic word for protector is protecotr.

When I was little, I thought there was a person that watched me when I slept. Plus when I woke up, I would see these creepy shadows and flip out.

Haha, you thought of your stuffed animals the complete opposite of what I thought of mine!

When I was little, very little, I lived in an apartment with my mom and dad. The people who lived above us were party people, though I'd always thought that there was just a roof there. So, a lot of the weeknights, there would be loud stomping and what not noises that frightened me coming from "the roof". My dad tried to explain to me that this was just because gazelles and buffalo were playing football up there, and they were loud players sometimes. I fully believed him.

Yup, I was convinced they'd turn to ruthless murderers at night time. That's why they would always either sleep in a closet, trunk, with my sister, or outside my room.

I was seriously convinced that my stuffed animals were magical and sent here to protect me.

When I was little and I was told a secret, I would say I wasn't going to tell anyone. Then I would go to the nearest tree and scream the secret, and claim I hadn't told "anyone".

When I was little, I was afraid of dogs, big or small, and birds, because I got one stuck in my hair once, and horses, because they were tall and I'd seen too many horses buck in movies, and basically ever other animal you could think of.

I was afraid of horses too! we were taking a family pic on my aunts and uncles farm and the horse decided to come over and eat my hair :(

When I was little, I believed that if you did not sleep at night, you would transform into a vampire. Therefore, I always went to be early, in fright of being turned to a vampire.

When I was little, I used to throw my barbies at my ceiling fan and out the windows, into my pool.

I guess I was more a stuffed animal kind of girl.

When I was little, I was in the game closet (consisted of boardgames, blankets and pillows, scrapbooks, etc) looking at old scrap books when I decided to fall asleep under all the blankets. Hours later, my parents and sisters are in tears, not able to find the little blond baby. Finally, when my mom is about to call 911, my Dad checks one more time to see a hand sticking out from under the covers... That still wins the award for the most comfortable nap ever. It was like sleeping in a cloud sandwich! Lol!

TL;DR: I fell asleep in the closet, and no one found me for hours.

That's hilarious. I fell asleep on the trampoline once. My Da took a video of me, my head smashed down, and my butt sticking up in the air.

When I little...I had a crush on the most popular boy in our grade. He wasn't always nice to everyone, but was to me, and he always unclipped my lunchbox from my backpack, that had evil clips I could NEVER get open. Then again, that might have just been my 1st grade damsel in distress mode.
