Yonina This book is rated 9+ but do u want a 9 year old reading that book. This book would have been ok except for some *ahem* "age inappropriate" chapters. it is ok if u right a sentence or 2 if it is a brief matter but Cathy is such a good author and tends to be "very descriptive"as a parent would u want ur kid reading that.(and im not hating on the book just a few chapter of it that arent for the child's ear ,erm, eye,uh brain that what i meant to say)

Ciara Well, it depends. To be honest, I would have rated it higher than 9+, but I'm not a mother so I wouldn't know. I got this book in a set along with three or four other Cathy Cassidy books a year or so ago, and I think I read this one last or second-last.

It's a good book, and I think it should be maybe 10+... but that's just me.

oh btw neither am i , i was just trying to get in a parents point of view

Sara I thinkits ok, scarlett and kian dont do much except kiss, and surely 9 yr olds know like wayyy more than kissing, so yeh. i think 9 is fine tbh

Kiki~~다은이♥♥ i vote for the age 10 and up.

Tea Macaroon Okay first of all this book does NOT have any "scenes" and I'm sure a nine year knows what a kiss is unless you have her|him locked up from reality!!!!

Megy Kaye Tea Macaroon, Definitely agree! :D

Mia Weir I agree aswell, my brother and sister are 8 and 10 and I would reccommend that they read this book(I don't think my little brother would want too). they really don't seem to care when I watch a movie or TV and the actors kiss, so I would have to say 9+ is fine.

Yonina It is not the kissing that i think is not excatly age approperate it is when Hazel is born.I think it is a little too detailed for 9 year olds...maybe for 10 year olds but not 9.I think though the kissing is nothing.I have seen picture books with more kissing then that

Francesca Scanlan Well I read it when I was about nine, so I think it's perfectly appropriate, and it remained one of my favourite books throughout my younger years.

Bhavisha Well, its a kiss T-T just a kiss. Thats it. Even though I think that scarlett's character could affect them badly lol. You don't want your 9 year old piercing her nose on her own heh. (or her tongue) lmao.
