Haidi Lucinda wrote: "Dear Everyone,
I saw the 'Twilight' film on television a while ago and really loved it, as i have not as yet read any of Stephanie's books but herd a lot about them that was positive. Last night on..."

Hi Lucinda, not sure if your aware, but you haven't "missed" Eclipse. The order of the movies is - Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.

so if you've seen Twilight and New Moon then your all ok as far as the order goes! :)

Haidi Well, you'll enjoy that one too. I really like Eclipse, but it always kills me because of the "love triangle" thing, even tho I know whats going to happen!! :)

Eclipse is my second favorite. breaking dawn is my fave. Jacob finally gets a grip on things and grows up a lil. im still team Jacob tho

Delaney Not to crush anyones mind on things but I thought New Moon was the worst out of the whole series (next to Breaking Dawn) I guess Eclippse and Twilight wasn't so bad.:/

Ross Bauer (nightlightknight) Personally I think the novels and the movies miss the point of werewolves and vampires, they are supposed to be scary before they are attractive. The trend of teenage girls wanting a vampire or a werewolf for a boyfriend is rather misleading, yes Dracula was a charmer, but there was also something terrifying about him, the vampires of twilight tend to be 'PC blood lite vampires', prettied up while papering over the essential agony that makes vampires such conflicted and fascinating creatures.

The tribal take on werewolves, while a nod towards Native American shamanistic shapeshifter customs, is again a little light and fuzzy to be taken seriously.

Ross Bauer (nightlightknight) Trust me Kathy it'll be an experience, whether it leaves you cringing or squeeeing with adulation is up to you:p

Ross Bauer (nightlightknight) Only if you can get it cheap:p

Ross Bauer (nightlightknight) You know what they say about curiosity and the Kat(hy):p
I was dragged to watch new moon by a friend and so I too succumbed to sadomasoch- I mean curiosity, and got the first movie to ahem, get up to speed with what the story was about:)

Ross Bauer (nightlightknight) I bet most of the revenue is milked from dupes like us who go to watch a movie as soon as it is released in cinemas even though deep down we know will be crapola,in addition to the legions devoted to Tat, the God of poor taste and sheltered exposure to anything better.

Ross Bauer (nightlightknight) Well apart from not being a poor student myself, I agree with everything you said, or wrote, as the case may be. The Hobbit is a must see, as many times as I can manage:p

Ross Bauer (nightlightknight) Aye, never shall a substandard trite yarn be mentioned in the same context as a formative work of staggering influence I think the phrase goes:p
