RACHEL!!!! Don't lol, okay talk to me, I will try to soothe your obsessions!

I took the day off that the book came out and then it did not download to my nook until the next day! I was evil...I had to keep away from everyone. It was a Tuesday so I couldn't stay up all night!
I am so excited that there is going to be three spin-offs and two more fever books. Yeahy for us!
PS...When I got Shadowfever I cheated and looked at the end and it did ruin it a bit for me. Don't do that...I was stupid. It is so much better if you let it roll out naturally.

I think it is the end of Faefever where things really get wractched up (spell?) and go into overdrive. I felt that the first half and the second half of the story were two sides of a coin but still different. There is alot going on in Faefever that will matter later on. pay attention to the little stuff.
I think it is all about Mac trusting herself and trusting the actions of others. Vlane is not any more trustworthy. He is so wrapped up in himself and is world. But what is he really about? Wow I could be writing about Barrons too!

These books are by far on my #1 series list. The journey was the best part of these books. Don't rush it, trust me all your patience will 1000% pay off! This book series is so good you need to savor every minute because once its over you will be in an emotional funk thinking that you wont encounter a book this good again. PLEASE be patient, it gets better and better and never lets you down. It breaks your heart, lifts you up, destroys you and then gives you faith. It is everything you could ask for in a great paranormal romance.

LOL! Spend time with your husband, compromise and tell him you want to be able to sneak goodreads peeks during commercials :P

Oh Didi....you and I are the same here....please savor it Rachel....it goes by so fast...half the fun is the wondering and thinking....it get's better and better as you read....and there is plenty to look forward to.

I have them all in ebook form except Shadowfever, I have it in both digital and physical copy. Feel free to ask us questions about anything you like or just to chit chat about the books! Katya and I are both ready to chat!

Do we ever get to meet ICYCGM he sounds cool.
Why does Barrons get jealous if he thinks of Mac as just a little girl?
You don't need to answer these are just some of the things on my mind. How about when Mac says something like " don't let me die here, bring me to the sunshine". I was a blubbering mess.

Omg Kelly YES! If you have not read it yet, you do not realize the void that is missing in your life. READ IT! Start this instant!

No problem. I love this series and the more people that support it the better. I know you will LOVE it. Not a single doubt in my head!

Yay!!!!! Can't wait for you to jump into the discussion!

Barrons is one of two male heroes/anti-heroes and the author describes him as a semi-sociopath. He is moody, annoying and commanding. You never get comfortable with him and that is how he likes it. He spends the entire series making Mac grow up, mature and trust actions over words. I like this quote, it kinda summs it up for me:
“Its our actions that define us. What we choose. What we resist. What we're willing to die for.”
“There are two kinds of people in the world Ms. Lane: those who survive no matter the cost and those who are walking victims.”
“Everywhere I looked, I could see only shades of gray. Black and white were nothing more than lofty ideals in our minds, the standards by which we tried to judge things and map out our place in the world in relevance to them. Good and evil, in their purest form, were as intangible and forever beyond our ability to hold in our hand as any Fae illusion. We could only aim at them, aspire to them, and hope not to get so lost in the shadows that we could no longer see the light.”
"Dying is overrated. Human sentimentality has twisted it into the ultimate act of love. Biggest load of bullshit in the world. Dying for someone isn't the hard thing. The man that dies escapes. Plain and simple. Game over. End of pain. Alina was the lucky one. Try living for someone. Through it all - good, bad, thick, thin, joy, suffering. That's the hard thing.”

Kelly you are just starting it? The series I mean?

I looked it up on this site that we love to use at the library I work at. The site is called fantasticfiction.com, you can look up authors or books. It will give you all the books that author has written, when their next books should be coming out, and if they have a series it will give you all the books that are in that series in order.

Unnecessary addition, in my opinion, but:

Feverworld 1,2 & 3

Fever6 & 7

And many of the Highlander books have information and some characters from this series that appear in Shadowfever (3-7) & occur approximately five years before Fever according to the author:

Becky! It's time for you to catch the fever!
