I know, right?! The twilight series is repetitive. Alice has a vision, Bella the defenseless human runs to the vamps, bad vampires vs good vampires yada yada yada. It feels like to me Stephanie Meyer has just re-written the same plot in each book.

I'm going to be real nice and gentle here....Why do you hate The Hunger Games?
You can have your opinion. I just don't agree :)

Anna (SylviaGrant) | 13 comments It's graphic, it's depressing, it's heart-breaking, it's disgusting, there's too much romance between Peeta and Katiness and over all it isn't my type of book.

ℂᖺαᖇᒪἷ℮ ⊰1017 &Tardis⊱ (charlie_awesome) Okay. I guess i can deal with that.

Haley Evermore (The Immortals, #1) by Alyson Noel I hardly it made it through this book, and didn't even try to read the rest of the series.

I really hated The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen.

Lint (lilalintroller) The Uglies Trilogy (Uglies, #1-3) by Scott Westerfeld

Deadset, that trilogy sucked.

The Adoration of Jenna Fox (Jenna Fox Chronicles, #1) by Mary E. Pearson

This was extremely boring.

To be honest.. I wasn't happy with the hunger games as well. Catching fire is better though and I think Monkingjay will be alright.. But The hunger games..

I saw your comment a bit too late.. I'm selling the first three books in the serie..

I can't believe so many people didn't like The Hunger Games....I guess I can understand not liking how depressing it was. I'm someone who really loves main characters to go through a bunch a tough stuff so I loved it.

message 20: by Alice (new)

Alice (cimmerian) I didn't mind the depressing parts in the Hunger Games, actually, I like those things in books. What I did not like was Katniss being very annoying but that is more because her character was that way and not because how she was written. What bothered me was because the concept had been worked out kind of flatly. It had so much potential, but nothing was done with it. With the mutations (no bachground) with the country (little background), characters other than Katniss were very shallow, and the love triangle... I was not fond of that either... I just mist some dept in this books. But I must say, the books was written quite exciting and thrilling.
I hope that this brought some understanding about it. Because I can understand why people loved it, it was just not something for me :)
