Dear Maximum Ride... ROCKS!,
How's it going? It's been a while... Just over a year, it seems. Too long.

From the looks of it, I haven't missed much; I apparently jumped ship shortly before a majority of the crew. It's rather sad. I've spent a majority of this night/morning pouring over our lost threads, fighting the urge to necro a few. Most topics - no, "most" seems too minor... Nearly all of the topics fizzled out in mid 2011. And here we are, 3 months into 2012, and only a handful of posts to show for it...

I'm sure all of you are busy, but I'd like to see at least a little activity in this group again. After all, this was my first group, and my only group for the longest time. I didn't join another group until I tossed around the idea of RPing, which I'm pretty sure was after the CFF failed...

By the way, I'm sure I've messaged a couple of you, but there was this one RP group I was fairly active in before I deleted my old account. I can't remember what the group was called, or who invited me, but I do know that whoever invited me was from this group. If you know you invited me to some group, please send me a message about it. I want to pick up RP'ing once again, and I just want to start in a familiar place.

So true. I'm so happy to see that there's at least one person who still is relatively active in this group! I was afraid that I wouldn't even be able to find this group again, or maybe that it had disbanded or something...

I'm still active, when there's something to be active about... I check the group every day while at work, and sometimes more. Thanks for the show of support, Otto. This group is my baby, and I started it 4 years ago, now. Time has flown, but... It's kind of stopped recently. I'm really hoping that 2012's not the end of this RP, I really am.

I think now's a good time to either start recruiting again, or to find some way to get all of the old members coming back. I might be a tad overzealous because I'm on spring break and bored as hell, but I think we could find a way to jump-start the forums if we tried. Then again, it's really up to you and Steph. Because you two are the most prominent members, you two might find it's better to let sleeping dogs lie. While I hope this isn't the case, sometimes things just aren't cost-efficient, and it might not be worth trying.

This group taught me a lot though :D. We need to save it >:O. I get sad when I look at the topic and there now red (1 new). Do you think starting the rp over again would work> Not really start over but make a new rp thread topic and continue from there so it would be 'new'. Idk, throwing ideas out there. It seems that when people recruit, the ones recruited don't actually...rp.

Btw, I think you had been in a group of mine Otto but I doubt its the one your talking about.

I really hope so, Chaotic. And sorry, I know you're prominent, but I hadn't seen the last time you posted, so I wasn't sure if you had fallen off the grid like I had. All I know is that Snow and Steph were probably the most active in the entire group.

And let the record show, that if we were to start another RP, I would more than likely participate. =)

Which group was it, do you recall? All I remember about this group was that it was an RP group, and I met a GR user named "Candance", whom I was fond of RPing with.

O.O wow, so it might be my group lol. It's Chaotic Roleplay. But I believe Candace was rping with you but I think she later deleted her account. And- hold on.

Yeah, she deleted her account, and then I got her to make another one for a while, and we started a private group. The private group is gone, and even if it wasn't, I'm not on my old account, so I can't see it, but it'd be nice to at least try to start RPing in the same group I got started in. And if I recall correctly, that's the group I started in.

:o so she did that with you too. Cool. lol. *shrugs* If it was that group then I can just send you a request if you'd like. But I have to warn you that it isn't really that active :/. It's like only me and two people who mostly rp in that group. Never really got people to rp for long there.

Oh man, it's so awesome, going back and finding old groups. Terrible news that no one's really active. I would attempt to bring Candace back, but I'm sure she's busy with her life now. Well, I might not responds for a little while now; I have the blackbox of several RP's to analyze. ^^

Anything to start it back up, I'd say. We clearly have people who are willing. I'm sure after we get it started, it'll come together nicely.

Oi. We've got a LOT of members that would be annoyed, at the least, if we just delete the roleplay. We try deleting the spam once in a while, but... It persists. If people don't want to be members, they don't have to be members. As for the mods... *shrugs* The modships were given out to people who asked, since I honestly don't care who's a mod. Nobody in this group has ever abused the power, since pretty much everyone only wanted the title things anyway.

As for active members, Steph and I are, yes. Manni's been active, Angel's becoming more active... Morgan was and is still trying to be active, and I have no idea what happened to Ren and the rest.

Restarting the RP in a new thread: We could, but it would be a pain to go back and forth. Someone had tried that a good few months ago, and it died rather quickly.

In conclusion, (TAKE THAT ENGLISH TEACHERS! :P) I do want this group to stay alive, guys. I really really really really *endless supply of really's* want this group to revitalize.

Well, we never suggested getting rid of the old RP. In fact, I hope this isn't the case, as I know it would be missed. And it also seems that it will pick up again, hopefully.

Also, there is a TL;DR at the end... It might actually make more sense than what I was trying to describe in the next couple paragraphs. Screw it, the TL;WR is going next.

TL;WR - Create new threads for RP, Characters and Chat. New RP could be parallel with hopes of combining with the old one. Try to keep clutter free for potential joiners.

Now, if you feel like you need more explanation than that, which I hope you don't, here's what I had originally written;

(view spoiler)[I'd say start a new one with everyone's who active now (I mean, those who are active and want to RP). Heck, we could even make it parallel to the existing RP. That way, if we ever decide to combine them on down the line, we can. Of course, I can say that because I have no idea what's going on - or, should I say, what went on - in the RP. I'm sure there's some things that have happened that would make it hard for a parallel story - after all, something major is bound to have happened in the 4250+ pages you have - so this idea might be out before it's given a chance. But still, it's something I thought I should mention it.

We at least need a new thread, no matter what we intend to do with it. A new character creation thread as well. With all the inactives and people who have just given up on the RP, there's too much in both of the original threads that is not current, or would be considered as wasting space. I'd much rather these new threads be as neat as possible, and don't have so many unnecessary things. I believe that all of the forgotten characters and subplots make it that much harder to read.

Also, we should have another thread for chatter about the RP. Whether it be plot related, or maybe just playful gossip about the characters, I feel like it would help cut some extra content out of our RP. You know, make it slightly more readable, in case someone wants to join later. (hide spoiler)]

And just so you know, we might've lost a few good people, but even the handful of us here currently are still able to keep this group going. Besides, we have Insanity on our side.

lol. I know we've lost some good people. And... Yeah... I still think it would be a pain having more than one topic for roleplay. We've already had people asking which topic to use, and that's with just one...

I guess it may be possible for the latter to die. Not sure how likely, but plausible. How did (s)he die? Scythe?

Is there some other way that we, as a whole, could communicate? I feel like GR isn't the best site for chatting like this. Too slow, never sure who, if anyone, is on....

Hm. I guess this is one way to pass the time when you're doing something else. I just don't see it as an effective communication agent. Oh well, it still does it's function, I guess.

Meh, I don't do homework anyways, and there are few things I do where I can just switch back and forth between it and GR, so whenever I'm on GR, I'm on GR.

Yeah, it was something I did in RP, so it wasn't in her character description... I added it though, so that I don't forget again. Made playing with Bergin REALLY fun. ^.^
