Lost Girl
I am watching. Love the side kick Kenzi. I feel like it is getting better and better. I think I read they are on season two in Canada and it's a hit there. Can't wait for more!
You guys might be interest in the Lost Girl group that is just starting up. http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/6...
@ Shera, Thanks for the tip i've just joined. :o)
Thanks!! Feel free to invite people. It's a little quiet right now, but I'm sure things will pick up.
AWESOME NEWS thanks this is one of the reason I like urban fantasy they all ways seem to have strong female leads.
is there a way we can move this thread to the lost gril group? and the picture they use is my wall paper for my nook color.
Just to let everyone know. Lost Girl has officially been picked up for season 3 on Syfy. Airs Jan 2013!!!!
I've been watching it from day 1 when it first aired in Canada. SyFy kind of rushed through the first two seasons to play catch up, because Canada is going to do season 3 in September (From everything I've read)

Next up is supernatural pannel and then author both today.
Jessica, if you liked the SyFy version of Being Human, I HIGHLY recommend checking out the BBC version.Eric Quinn Knowles
Oh I have seen the BBC Being Human. Love it as well. I love British TV. Both the American Being Human and the British one are good for different reasons. (view spoiler)
I know what you mean. I stopped watching after that event.I love that Mitchell was the guy you'd want as your buddy. I tried to watch the SyFy show, but it seemed they were going for the humorless, brooding route and I couldn't get into it.

Yeah, they definately are different shows by the same name. I am glad they are like that though. I don't think the American cast could pull off what the Brits did with the orginal. Although I do find it a little funny that they named the vampire character on the American one Adian since that is the name of the actor that plays Mitchell on the BBC one.
I absolutely love Lost Girl! And Anne Silk is hot! I'm so sad that she's alone though. It's so sad how things aren't working out in the love department. I've been watching it on SyFy every week. And this week I get two episodes since it's moving to Friday! YAY! My guilty pleasure. =)
I watched most of the last episode of Lost Girl, but I'm a bit out of the loop regarding the characters and storyline. It looks interesting, though. I'll watch a couple more episodes.Eric Quinn Knowles
Hanne, Being Human was orginally a BBC series. They are on season 4 now, I believe. They also have it on netflix. If you like the SYFY one you will most likely like the BBC one.
The BBC version is the only one of Being Human I've seen. After I get caught up I want to try out the US version.
Speaking of BBC shows, did anyone see Outcasts? It's a scifi epic that was building towards some interesting paranormal elements before it was cancelled.Eric Quinn Knowles
*sigh* I wish I still had the streaming. I'm in the sticks and the HSI is to slow for netflix streaming anymore.
Shera, try Amazon streaming. I always get a better picture from them than I get from Netflix. Might be a better option for a slow connection. Eric Quinn Knowles
A pox on amazon they somehow lost the rights to dc comics. How do they screw up so much.Shera I believe you can watch lost girl on HULU plus.
True. But I've got Netflix dvd rental thing, though I haven't checked to see if they've got any of the being human on dvd.Something to do when I get home. (The HSI is so spotty out here that sometimes it just stops having a connection for hours, so having any kind of online streaming that I have to pay for is just silly.)

Didn't know Hulu had it.
I haven't seen it, Eric. But, it looks like they have it on netflix. I will have to check it out. I recognize some of the actors from other BBC shows I have watched. :)That sucks, Shera. I love my netflix streaming and discs. I am such a movie, tv, and book junkie. I don't know what I would do without my kindle or my netflix.
I don't mind too much. The disc selection pretty much is better then the streaming anyway. (Though it is nice to have both.)
The only other internet option would be to use a cellular-based service, but I'm not sure if those are fast enough for streaming or not, and I haven't checked the prices.I know I'd be a bit lost without my streaming.
I live in the stone age. My phone is only able to make calls, well I could text if I didn't have that feature blocked.
