Calvin and Hobbes discussion

I may be the only one who thinks this but the last Calvin and Hobbes strip seems to have a bittersweet ending. You want to cry because it's ending but then Calvin says "its a magical world Hobbes ol' buddy" "lets go exploring" like he's destined for great things and it's not goodbye just Calvin going on yet another one of his crazy adventures. you cant help feel happy for him.

I agree. It's sad because it's ending but the ending is totally optimistic and not an end for our heroes.

I agree wholeheartedly. The ending is fitting, and doesn't leave everything tied up too neatly (sounds like Calvin himself).

I really love Calvin and Hobbes too bad it had to end :(
