Arena One

Mentors Observatory
Aiden sat at his chair of the Mentor's Observatory and watched the holographic projector waiting for the image of the arena to begin. He felt anxious with the feeling of his tributes entering the arena.
Laden sat next to Aiden, he held a bag of popcorn and a bottle of scotch."This is gonna get interesting,"he told him.
Jonah walked in and paced, in his fingers he held Barely's charm bracelet "Please let her win....please..." he whispered-- anxious as he thought of his love. His glasses were on and he couldn't stop pacing.
Laden looked over at Jonah, his acute hearing heard his whispers."You want a blind girl to win?"he asked raising an eyebrow.
Felicity quietly entered the room with a soft sigh; she hated having to watch the games. She took a seat, and instead of watching the screen she let her eyes scan the other mentors.
Jonah looked over "Of course I want the blind girl to win!" he barked, not understanding why everyone was so biased towards her
Laden tried to suppress his laughter, he stood up and looked over at him."Popcorn,"he held out the bag to him, trying to change the subject.
Jonah glared and took hold of the popcorn "I am the youngest tribute to ever win--if I was able to win-- Barley will be able to as well. You have NO CLUE what that girl is capable of!"
Felicity's eyes filled with pity for Jonah; she couldn't fathom the idea of watching the person you loved go into the games. Poor thing, she thought as she turned her eyes away from the two men.
"May the odds ever be in her favor,"Laden said mockingly to the government. He shrugged and looked around."Maybe I'll support her rather than my tributes, they don't care about winning or losing. They're love-drunk, so I'll send her some bread or something from district two."
Jonah bowed his head towards Laden "That is basically what I play on doing-- the only tribute of mine that only has some moral is Lavender. Rolex is a ego stuck maniac" Jonah smirked, remembering how he beat Rolex.
Laden chuckled a bit and nodded."Yeah, I suppose so, I have Ray and Branch,"he replied and shrugged a bit."If she can keep herself alive long enough, I'll sponsor her."
Aiden raised a brow, "Yes well, the district two girl is unstable. Rolex will most likely die anyway. Damon, he might have a chance..... And barley? She is out of luck. The arena is practically silent."
Laden turned to Jonah and instantly grabbed his arm. He shoved them behind his back."Where's your respect?" he snarled."I'm not gonna watch us fight before it begins."
Jonah's free arm flew up and clapped Laden in the ears. He growled and spun around "Get your filthy hands off of me"
Laden staggered back, his ears ringing and his hands instantly clamped over them. He growled as he began to hear again slowly.
Aiden rubbed his jaw slightly, and a malicious gleam entered his eyes. Shaking it off though he frowned, "Jonah. Get a grip. We've all lost something in the games. Humanity. Respect. Friends. Loves. Laughter. Thats what the games do. They take things from people. I suggest you calm down."
Jonah's heart pounded, he pulled out cigarettes and started smoking slowly "I hate the games..." he shook his head "Must they make us lead some kids to die every year?"
"Yeah, you get used to it after a while,"Laden responded to Jonah."I stopped caring, if you tributes don't care. Don't bother helping." He turned around and plopped down into a chair, he crossed his arms. He waited for the beginning, he always loved that part.
Aiden looked down and raised a brow, "Jonah. Your egotisic maniac just made the first kill. Congrats." he said darkly watching as the blood bath began.
Laden watched Fang and his concern for Remy."Look at that one, he genuinely think Rolex would kill her."
Laden nodded."That boy better get out of there,"he mused."Rolex is protecting her, if he gets in the way though...."He shuttered in the thought of his Hunger Games.
Aiden frowned, "Interesting...." He mused to himself as he looked down at the holograms. It was interesting to see that Barley was alive. That she had wounded another player.
Aiden turned to Jonah, "How could you have allowed yourself to fall in love with a Tribute?" He asked curiously as a young girl brought him a cup of steaming coffee. Waving her away she ran off.
Jonah took his shades off and rubbed his eyes "because she is the first person to look at me without fear and disgust in a long time..." he muttered and shook his head "I couldn't help myself" Jonah blew out smoke
Aiden wrinkled his nose, "Hasn't anyone ever told you that smoking is bad for your health?" He asked rolling his eyes and taking a sip of the coffee.
Jonah sighed "besides you? Only her" he chuckled and breathed in again before blowing out more smoke
Aiden shook his head, "And you choose not to listen to her? Even though she is your lover." He scoffed obviously thinking the idea was pointless and quite pathetic.
Jonah resisted the urge to punch Aiden once more, he blew out smoke "well it's a bitch to stop" he muttered
"Still. She could die in there. I'd think you'd want to do anything you could to make her happy." Aiden shrugged, "Just my opinion."
Jonah glanced at him "I told her I would stop when she came out alive" he smirked and rubbed her charm bracelet more
"At least your tributes have a chance," Tiffany responded. "District 12 almost never wins, but I think Dominic might have a chance. He really needs to show some stuff out there if we have a chance at sponsors though."
"Sponsors. Whats the point? That Bruce has half of them in his back pocket." Aiden shook his head, qnd took another sip of his coffee.
Jonah chuckled into his cigarette and blew out once more "Kid made a smart move-- mentioning his soon to be orphaned daughter? Genius. Smart of Barley to ally herself with him."
Aiden nodded, "Wonder why that guy would ally himsel with her. She wouldnt help his winning much, unless he knew of her skills. Hmmm." he wondered about the pair.(should i wait for fang?)
[ummmmmmm.....I think she can catch up.]Jonah chuckled "Because he's a father and has compassion." Jonah shook his head thanking Bruce in the back of his mind.
Jonah blew out smoke and nodded "Amen to that" he muttered with a shake of his head "And just think-- we have to do this all over again next year" he shook his head
Kristen wrote: "(i dont think the district 12 tributes have roleplayed...)"(give them a day and if not theyll be killed)
Aiden shrugged, "Maybe not. Depends on who wins." He shrugged, "All we could know, Rolex or Lavender might be chillin up here next year."
Jonah nodded "That is very true-- Rolex is strong-- but he also things he is better than everyone else" he shook his head "Maybe your tribute girl can knock some sense into him...."

This is where the mentors will observe the game and be able to send stuff to their tributes.
