Sam Ender's Game (Ender's Saga, #1) by Orson Scott Card Ender's Shadow (Shadow, #1) by Orson Scott Card World War Z An Oral History of the Zombie War by Max Brooks Feed (Newsflesh Trilogy #1) by Mira Grant

These four books I have read a million times. I have VERY FEW five star books. Maybe ten of them. And three are books from my childhood. Picking a fifth book is really hard for me because I love the Dresden Files, sure, but I'm not sure I want to commit to listing Storm Front. Similiarlly, I'm not sure I'd want to list Fire Bringer, Rifles for Watie, Where the Red Fern Grows, etc. because I haven't read them in a while.

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) Flipped by Wendelin Van Draanen Hush, Hush (Hush, Hush, #1) by Becca Fitzpatrick Legacy of Lies & Don't Tell (Dark Secrets, #1) by Elizabeth Chandler The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks If I Stay (If I Stay, #1) by Gayle Forman

Flipped: Somehow people could relate on the story.
Hush Hush: Simply I couldn't put the book down.
Dark Secrets 1: due to curiosity, I didn't expect that it would be so good. I feel like I'm a detective guessing the suspect.
The Last Song: It made me wept. (movie..nah)
If I Stay: Heartbreaking 3

Jay iBoy by Kevin Brooks Divergent (Divergent, #1) by Veronica Roth The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer, #1) by Michelle Hodkin The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1) by Suzanne Collins Ashfall (Ashfall, #1) by Mike Mullin

I liked IBoy because I thought the concept of the story was cool and it an awesome science fiction novel. I liked divergent because it similar to hunger games and it was exciting through out the whole book. I'm really looking forward to the sequel. I liked the unbecoming of Mara Dyer because the main character is incredible and the author is an amazing writer I didn't want to stop until I finished. I loved hunger games it was amazing. I loved Ashfall because it was amazing. Ashfall has action, adventure and Romance. What else could you ask for in a book? I'm really excited about the sequel.

Adriana I love 15 books so I'll put some here...

The Roar by Emma Clayton A Little Wanting Song by Cath Crowley Deadline by Chris Crutcher Skate by Michael Harmon Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver

The Roar was such a fantastic display of dystopian literature. It was different. There were no love triangles which I usually like but am kind of getting tired of. It had kids with superpowers and were changed by how the world is now. I loved the brother and sister relationship.

A Little Wanting Song- I absolutely loved Charlie and how she was so good at singing and was shy and nice.... and she was just awesome.

Deadline just made you feel. You were dying inside because this boy that you have grown so attached to was dying too.

Skate was another great sibling bond. They just wanted to be wanted. It was a great story.

Before I Fall has the most satisfying ending I've come across. To see her grow so much throughout the story and see the result was why I loved it.

City Of Bones and The Hunger Games are amazing. I was going to ask if Matched was any good but since you've listed it as a favourite I'm sure that it is.

Oh wow! =)
I think that's great.
Have to get my hands to that as soon as possible. I read mostly standalones now a days because of that problem that the sequels were mostly not as good as the first book but will still try to read them . =P

The awesomeness and legend of this book is pretty much self-explanatory.
If I Stay Series - Gayle Forman
Emotionally Painful
Vampire Academy - Richelle Mead
Not your typical Vampire book, great characters too!
The Mortal Instruments - Cassandra Clare
Who can resist Jace? I know I can't.
The Infernal Devices - Cassandra Clare

message 16: by Valencia (new)

Valencia (empowered) Dont' really have favorite books, but I do have favorite series:

1. I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You (Gallagher Girls, #1) by Ally Carter Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy (Gallagher Girls, #2) by Ally Carter Don't Judge a Girl by Her Cover (Gallagher Girls, #3) by Ally Carter Only the Good Spy Young (Gallagher Girls, #4) by Ally Carter Out of Sight, Out of Time (Gallagher Girls, #5) by Ally Carter I started the first book during a book fair I had to work in the 8th grade. I really liked it, but I never bought or finished it. Like my 10th grade year while shopping for new books, I came across it and remembered the cover which really stood out to me. I've been hooked on these books ever since (: I own most of them in print and eBook format!

2. Heist Society (Heist Society, #1) by Ally Carter Uncommon Criminals (Heist Society, #2) by Ally Carter This is another series by one my favorite authors!!! I love everything about it (especailly Hale!) and it's almost the direct opposite of her Gallagher Girl books, but they're still very similar.

3. The Lightning Thief (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #1) by Rick Riordan The Sea of Monsters (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #2) by Rick Riordan The Titan's Curse (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #3) by Rick Riordan The Battle of the Labyrinth (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #4) by Rick Riordan The Last Olympian (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #5) by Rick Riordan The Lost Hero (Heroes of Olympus, #1) by Rick Riordan The Son of Neptune (Heroes of Olympus, #2) by Rick Riordan Just like with the Gallagher Girls books I own most of these in 2 formats!! I loved mythology before, but these books took it to a whole nother level! This is the Harry Potter of mythology. There's no words for how amazing these books are (:

4. Hush, Hush (Hush, Hush, #1) by Becca Fitzpatrick Crescendo (Hush, Hush, #2) by Becca Fitzpatrick Silence (Hush, Hush, #3) by Becca Fitzpatrick This was my first angel themed book, and I fell in love!!! This book is the reason I started reading angel books. I just love it!! And it has no love triangle which is a major bonus!

5. Twilight (Twilight, #1) by Stephenie Meyer New Moon (Twilight, #2) by Stephenie Meyer Eclipse (Twilight, #3) by Stephenie Meyer Breaking Dawn (Twilight, #4) by Stephenie Meyer Yes I love this series and no I'm not crazy. This series made me fall in love with YA. I did great things for me and my friends. Yes looking back it is lacking in some areas, but it was Stephine's first series, and it made me fall in love with vamps all over again. (:
