What are you reading now?
I'm currently reading
. I'm only a few pages into the story but hoping to read some more tonight. :)
I just started reading Black Howl by Christina Henry yesterday and I'm about half-way done listening to Lover Revealed by J.R. Ward.
Scotia wrote: "See now I can't decide whether to start reading the Kate Daniels series or the Night Huntress series......"What about read book 1 of each series and then decide?
I'm all over the place with my reading but right now
and next is either
or
Kim Harrison's books do get better...DWW was kinda blah to me but book 3 imo is when the stories start getting more interesting. It's actually the book that I started getting invested into the characters!
Yep that's pretty much what made the book blah....But she definitely starts getting better although there were a few moments when I banged my head against the book or the wall because of some of the crap she pulled/said...But eventually I got invested in her like she was my own little caterpillar that I was waiting to change, hatch, and fly away!
Oh you won't need luck but good luck anyway. You'll prob end up falling for Kate & Curran just like the rest of us.. :-)
Yeah I understand that...The worse part is when I really get into a book then have to make myself go to sleep so I can get up for work then have to wait all day to get back to it...That's why I always try to start new book on Friday afternoons so I have all weekend to read them uninterrupted
Jennifer wrote: "Just finished A Perfect Blood by Kim Harrions. It was really good. Got the book signed too."Didn't you just love it. And Rachel I felt like a proud mama whose baby just decided to grow up while reading about Rachel's development. What was your favorite part?

SO awesome! ♥ "Oh you are in for it now! Those are some fun books with, as my cousin puts it, cliffhangers from hell! :) I just started
, a YA book by Tamora Pierce, I love her books!
I'm sort of contemplating rereading the Fever series, but am also playing with the idea of finishing Gail Carriger's Parasol Protectorate series. However, I'm not sureif I'll do the latter, because I'm in the middle of book two, and I can't get into it. Which basically means that I don't know what to read yet. Lol. :)

Oh yeah. I better not touch the rest of the books or I'm stuck. But it was good to reread the first one. Got my Barrons fix.
I finished
and was in tears by the end of it! Now I'm starting
, as it's my book of this month in Random Reads. ♥

I love Tamora Pierce's books!
has been on my list of books to read since I came out. I'll get to it some time soon I hope.Currently reading (and loving) another YA:
. It's the 3rd and final book in the series and I'll be sorry to finish this one.
Currently I am reading the Kara Gillian series by Diana Rowland (book 1 is Mark of the Demon), I am enjoying them so far.@ Estelle, I have read Beyond the Highland Mist, and didn't really like it... It was too much like an historical romance for my taste. There is some super natural aspect too it. Although if you haven't read Karen Marie Moning's Fever series, I highly recommend it. The Fever series is in my top 5 favorite U.F. series.
Thanks Ginny. The Fever series is my top favorite too, that's why I wanted to try the Highlander series with the first one. Not sure I will like it but I only intend to read the first before starting a new series.
I still haven't read the Mortal instruments and First grave on the right. It may be one of those!
I'm reading 2 books (one is on my kindle phone ap and the other is the actual book)
and
. I love the Jane Yellowrock Novels and I am still not sure about Unholy Ghosts...

I'm currently listening to
on audiobook. I kind of don't want it to finish cos I hate having to wait another year for more Sookie!
Carleny wrote: "I just finished Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison (and hated it and hope that the second book will be better) and started reading some Kathy Reichs. Though I did open up Bitten by Kelley Armstrong..."Carleny,
Dead Witch Walking is mainly worth reading for the character introductions. Second and later books are better.
Harrison improves steadily through the series, and her heroine gets bit-by-bit less angsty while going through several romances and kind-of romances.
Just my opinion, natcherly.

I agree with you Phil. The series really didn't pick up til the 2nd or 3rd book. Didn't really like Pale Demon and Haven't read the latest one yet due to that.

It's a lot like The Hunger Games, only for adults. So far, I think it's fantastic! :D
So i have read the keri arthur riley jenson guardian series and its amazing. Could not put it down also the spin off series as well. I also read kelley armstrong woman of the other world series which i also enjoyed very much. I love a good plot with a healthy dose of romance/ erotica. Any suggestions?
Lidia wrote: "Hey everyone, I am currently reading [bookcover:Soul Screamers Vol. 1 : My Soul to Lose My Soul to Take My Soul to Save] and I have to say I am so hooked already."I've read the first 2 so far and I really like them too! They are not too YA for my taste I think it's because they are not based around a school!
Susan wrote: "I am currently reading Angel's Flight by Nalini Singh.
"Oh good book...I happened upon Hunter's Guild books after they were recommended to me by [i forget who]and I love them didn't think I would but I do!!!

I'm trying this book out. The first book was god awful. I had people telling me to just be patient and read the first two books. So I started this one and this book is actually good.
