 ~Geektastic~ (atroskity) I wasn't thrilled by Follett. He was too detailed when describing horrible things in The Pillars of the Earth, at least for my taste. And the book started out well enough, but it eventually started to read like a formula: trouble, rinse, repeat.

Here's my review if anyone is interested:

Chris Stanley (christinelstanley) | 922 comments I've read three books by Ken Follett;
The Key to Rebecca,
World Without End and
The Pillars of the Earth
and found them all compulsive and entertaining. The descriptions are a tad graphic but I didn't find them over the top!
