question
How do you like it?

I checked this book out at the library earlier today and I'm enjoying it, but does anyone else feel like the writing at times is slightly awkward? Like how she jumps around from one even to the next? At first I thought it made the book more suspensful, but then at times I'm like what's going on? http://fresh-pages.blogspot.com/

I liked this book. I thought that the parts where she goes back in her memories could have been better presented. I was constantly rereading parts to try understanding what was happening. It’s the first book of a new series so it’s going to have slow parts since Cabot is building a new world and such.
The sequel is not like that at all. It is by far in my opinion better.

I HATED the transitions between flashbacks and present day. It was soooo unorganized and very confusing. I also found it a little weird how fast the love grew.... Like, she was in the dead world or whatever she called it, for like, 3 hours or something stupid and then only saw the guy in the real world a few times after that.
I thought it was meh.

I did not like this book at all. I spent most of the time cursing out the heroine :/ and as you say the transition between present day and flashback felt sloppy and the romance was Luke warm.
It took me a while to read as I kept getting confused with the present day and the flashbacks. Half way through I was getting bored as I didn't have a clue what was even going on but near the end I started to like it more. Due to enjoying the last 4 chapters, im looking forward to reading the sequel.
