The Official Mortal Instruments Roleplay discussion

Er...okay, so this isn't by any means or ways involved or related to anything Mortal Instruments, Infernal Devices, or...well, anything, really, but...I thought of a fantastic game idea tonight, and...yeah. :) I felt the need to share, and who better to share it with?! :)

Okay, so the idea is to create a long topic, all in Haikus. Things that bounce off of each other, like carrying on a poem, or even a conversation, using only Haikus. But they have to each relate to the conversation on hand, or to the post right before. I think this is a creative way to get everyone thinking and creating outside of the box, a way to get into the swing of writing. :)

P.s. A Haiku is a type of poetry, with three lines. The first line 5 syllables, the second 7, and the third and final 5. Just in case anyone was wondering. :)

Okay, so, Here's the start:

This new song of Glory,
Composed in entirety,
Of our own haikus.

I think this is cool,
So I hope it catches on,
Because it seems fun.

I hope it does, too,
I can hardly even wait,
been waiting all day.

We're writing Haikus
about the use of haikus
for activity?

Yes, indeed we are,

Why won't anyone,

You should not count that
As a deciding factor,

Much of my life will,

And not quite well off.

The problem is that
Though other things matter more
Pay sadly does count.

I shall not count it,
To be much of an issue....
But...point conceded.

I just feel that, later,
When I have a husband, kids,
I want to support.
