"Welcome to Camp Sea, training of the Aqua Clan warriors. Here you'll learn to fight find and destroy your own weaknesses, use others unfound or uncontrolled weaknesses against them, and most importantly, you'll the common battle strategies of enemy clans and tribes and strategies to use against them." the instructor said as we all stood at attention. Today, for me at least, was day 1 year 1 of warrior training.

"Hey! Blue Shimmer! Pick it up" the sargent snapped.
"Sorry sir!" She scrambled to pick up the bowl, but she tripped, causing the line of trainees to topple into a huge pile of groaning kids.
"I'm Aqua Gem. My dad founded this camp; I can give you some help so dont die to bad in training." I hissed.
"First, don't be clumsy, try to have as little stuff as possible, and what little stuff you do have on you have it securely fastened to your person." I said just loud enough for Blue Shimmer to hear.
"I'm Cadet Seabeth. I' m here to assign the newbes to their cabin. Second years to fourth years go to your cabins; fifth years group by cabin and hold your signs," a mob of girls left for the cabins. About ten seperated into five groups all holding numbered signs, "Cabin one: Blue Shimmer, Aqua Gem, Radin Marine, Rani Cloudwater…" Blue Shimmer and I went over towards the people holding sighns with big ones on them.
Blue Shimmer looks around nervously. "Who do we fight when we become real warriors?" she whispers to Aqua Gem.
"Where are you from? Don't you know about at least some if not ALL of the Aquas enemies? Theres the Phoenix, they don't get along with anybody, the Shadows, the, what are they called, oh ya! the Emprants." I rattled off.
"Oh, I've heard of those tribes. Only problem is that no one in my family would tell me anything. I want to know what the Phoenix tribe did to get so hated." Blue Shimmer said as they unpacked their gear side by side.
I stayed quiet. I remembered their last try to get power. Our resistence. My brother. "They hurt too many people, ruined too many families and all in the name of power and land."
"Appalling. It's just...families destroyed. People drastically harmed, killed. All for power." Turquoise Wave whispers, clearly not realizing she was cutting into a private conversation.
"Hey. So do you know anyone who, well, you know, was...effected by the Pheonix?" Aqua Gem asked, clearly not caring that Turqouise Gem had been eaves dropping.
(((Sorry, I meant Turquoise Wave, not Turquoise Gem. I just got distracted.)))"Hundreds," Turquoise Wave muttered. "Hundreds of others."
"Same here," Aqua Gem said solemnly, and then at a level no one else could here, "especially one."
Blue Shimmer shivers even though it is very hot outside. The sun bears down on the recruits as the sargent shouted. "Everyone, over here!"
"Let's go," Aqua Gem says, trying to forget the the powerful onslaught of memories.
"Yes. Go…" Turquoise Wave whispered, then started reciting a poem: "Go, go, by the ocean leave/May the streaks of blood in the sky flee/May the trails of tears in the sea depart/May the snowflakes of ash abscond/May the sorrow of a murderous war vanish/For by this water, death has thrived/Go, go, may the graves by the ocean be gone."(((I know, it's a pretty dumb poem. :P I came up with it on the spot, without even thinking. :P (again) )))
Blue Shimmer trip while everyone else is marching. "Ouch.." She says, rubbing her now mud-brown face.
"Oh, Blue Shimmer. I suppose I should just assume you fell, not that having brown faces are the latest fashion. Correct?" Turquoise Wave said dreamily.
"No, duh. Help her up before someone comes over here. Trust me here they train for war, and war ain't slow, easy, or fun. We HAVE to get through training," Aqua Gem's last sentence was mumbled and almost unintelligible.
"Yes, right. Though I expect I'll die in training very soon!" Turquoise Wave added cheerfully.Aqua Gem stared at her, horrified.
"My Dad OWNS the camp he FOUNDED it!!!! I'm probably the most likely to be saying I'm FORCED to go but I'm proud to be here. I have to. For people I love. You guys could go become a loner somewhere, but I have to cuz my dad OWNS Camp Sea!!! Stand up for your tribe or don't stand at all." Aqua Gem bursted.
"Then prove it or die trying." Aqua Gem snapped, "I'm sorry. Let's just go so we're not late for our first battle strategy class. I'm not in the mood for in-front-of-the-whole-class-push-ups."
"Well, don't scream about it," Turquoise Wave told Blue Shimmer airily as they ran for class. "I AM proud to be here. My elder sister, she did not want me to come here. But I wanted to. I did, truly. She wouldn't let me. And then I was chosen as a warrior, and I was EVER so proud!"
"Good," Aqua Gem seemed to be barely paying attention.
"Hey wasnt everyone supposed to be here last night so theyd be here for orientation in the morning?" Aqua Gem noticed the brown haired girl walking in to camp quite a bit late.
"Pretty sure you might want to talk to my dad. He runs the place." She pointed toward a small tent that seemed ominous despite its size. Cincinnati gulped.
"We need to hurry up we have about two minutes." Aqua Gem, Turquoise Wave, and Blue Shimmer bolted off to class. They got there jist as the techer was leyting everyone in. He was burly, bald, and tan.
"Excuse me?" A sharp deep voice said. She coild tell she'd already broken some understood rule.
"Yes, you may, but shouldn't you be in class?" he checked his watch, "Yes, it is exactly time for techers start letting the students in their rooms. Why aren't you in class?" For now he seemed calm and excepting but he had an edge to his voicw that said, "If you don't have a good reason for disturbing me and being late for class your in SO dang much trouble."
"All beginning warriors in training were supposed to arrive last night; why are you late? We need to get you situtated, you'll have to miss your first class. My daughter, Aqua Gem, will catch you up." He seemed simply curious now.
"It's fine we just need to know why. Specifically. Then we can get you situtated and give you the orientation." He became a little more stern.
Turquoise Wave held her hand up in a formal--though she didn't seem to know it--wave to Cincinnati from her tent opening, which was foolishly unzipped, as was the opening of the tent Cincinnati was in. She could everything that had been said to the girl. Don't worry, she mouthed, and smiled a rather sad smile.
(((hun were in a completely different tent how can u wave to her?)))
(((Since when were we in a different tent, hun? Anyway, hun, she waved at her through HER tent opening. :P )))
(((ok well weve been in a different tent since we went to class)))
