Oh Vicky I'm so sorry to hear this. Very sad day for you I'm sure.

I am so very sorry, Vicky. This is always such a tough decision to make. We've had to do it fairly recently for two cats and then a dog.

And it's not just the vet costs, but the question of Meeko's comfort. At 15, if she is not eating, then she is ready to go. But yes, a sad day, indeed.

Vicky, I am so sorry for you. It is so difficult to lose a pet. I will keep you in my thoughts.

Vicky, I'm SO sorry for the sadness you and your family are feeling right now. You undoubtedly did the best thing for Meeko, and it's important to keep remembering that. Hard as it is, our pets count on us to make these agonizing decisions and help them at the end. Try not to second-guess your decision, and keep her memory alive in the household by talking about the funny and cute things she did. I'll miss seeing those occasional pictures of your little tuxedo cat

I know I don't know you well yet. But my heart goes out to you and how loved your little tuxedo was. Sorry for your loss :(

So sorry for your loss Vicky. Our pets hold a special place in our hearts. RIP Meeko, you are loved.

Having had to do the same for my own pets, I know how you feel Vicky and I am so sorry but just try to remember that it is for the best. When our pets are not happy, comfortable and no longer enjoying life it is the least that we can do to ease their suffering, no matter the pain it causes us.

Just remember the happy jolly Meeko that I'm sure she was was and just think of all the mice she'll be able to chase through the clouds.
