Grace walked in sitting down. She still didnt know anyone so she read

Juliette followed James into the study hall. She saw Grace and waved.

Grace soflty lifted her hand, doing a small wave back.

Juliette laughed. Grace was so shy. She walked over to the girl.
"You might want to leave again," she joked.

Grace looked and nodded gathering her books and standing up.

"No! I didn't mean! I was just joking!" Juliette said.

Grace looked at her. "Okay," She smiled timidly.

James gave a small chuckle, looking out one of the broad windows.

"I can go," Grace said quietly

"No, it's fine stay." he said, glancing toward her with one of his bright smiles.

Grace nodded and picked her book up and walked over to a chair in the corner. She sat down and began reading.

"Maybe we should go somewhere else...I don't want to disturb her, we did want to be alone," Juliette suggested.

Grace looked over. "No its really fine. I can read anywhere." She said suprised at how much she said. She gathered her stuff and walked to the door. "Nice meeting you."

James smiled, turning away from the window.

Juliette noticed him smiling. Maybe he liked her or maybe Juliette was just being crazy and jealous.
"James?" she asked

Grace smiled and walked out of the room

"James?" Juliette repeated. He wasn't answering her, but he was smiling at Grace. Juliette felt a pang of jealousy."James," she said again.

James blinked and looked down at her, "Yeah?"

"Do you want to go somewhere else?" Juliette asked, a little hurt.

"No, here's fine." He smiled at her. He sat down next to her.

Juliette frowned.
"Okay," she said, moving to sit in his lap.

She sat down in his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck and resting her head on his shoulder.
"James, tell me something I don't know," she whispered

James thought for a second, "This summer I spray painted my neighbors lawn gnome purple." he said to cheer her up.

Juliette laughed hard. She had not been expecting that. When, she finally got a hold of herself again, she said,
"My turn? Or do you think you already know everything there is to know?"

"Your turn." he laughed.

Juliette smiled and tried to think of something to tell him.
"I broke my wand." she admitted. "Twice...after i first got it..." she said with an embarrassed smile.

James laughed, "Okay. My turn?"

Juliette nodded

"Um...my uncle owns a farm and I go there over the summers sometimes."

Juliette laughed.
"I didn't know that. We should go there sometime." Juliette said. She took a deep breath.
"I'm not over Violet yet..." she admitted. This was something was something that was very personal to her. She rarely talked about her sister. James had been the best thing that had happened to her since then. He had pulled her out of the bad state she was in after her sister's death. She wasn't sure where she would be without him.

James said nothing, he just pulled her closer to him knowing how badly the whole 'Violet' thing had hurt her.

Juliette couldn't resist the tears.
"I'm sorry..." she said

"Hey, it's okay. It's okay." he whispered hugging her even closer and resting his head on hers.

"It's just...oh, James." Juliette said, kissing him. "You're the best thing that's happened to me since Violet...left. I don't know where I'd be without you...I...I love you," she said.

He leaned back slightly to look at her, "Really?" he asked looking at her with an odd expression on his face.

"Yes, I mean it. I really do. Would I lie to you, James?" she said

He smiled slightly, "No, you wouldn't. It's just.." he trailed off biting his lip. He had no idea how to say this.

“This is about the ring, isn’t it? Look, James. I’m sorry-” Juliette said, suddenly cutting off to see if it was about the ring after all.

"No, no. It's not that. I-I just don't know how to say this..." he paused to take a deep breath. Then he brought her close and whispered in her ear, "I love you too."

Ammie sat down at a table and began to read again.

Juliette smiled and kissed James. She was so happy she could die.

Jake walked in and looked around.

Juliette finally pulled away and wiped her tears. She spotted a cute boy entering the room. She gave him a friendly smile and then turned back to snuggle her head into James' chest.

James smiled at the guy and hugged Juliette close, happy that she was so happy.

Alyssa walked in looking for someone she knew.
