ignorant, ignorant. Obama isn't for killing babies tht would mean he is pro-aborrtion, and there's no such thing! Obama is pro-choice, which means he believes tht the lady who is pregnant should decide, and make tht choice of either aborting her baby!

I have never heard of anyone who is pro-choice and doesnt believe in abortion. Pro-choice is just a word to make 'killing babies' sound better.

Uhh no not really...there is a difference! pro choice is when the mother makes the choice to abort the baby.. But you think our government should tell ppl what they can and can't do? America is supposed to be a free country.

Sequoia Poths | 7 comments Wait a second, you just said that being pro-choice doesnt mean you believe in abortion, just that the mother "has a choice" of whether or not she wants to abort her child. But then you said that pro-choice is when the mother makes the choice to abort her baby! Both are wrong! This is not the government telling us what to do it's us making the decision between right and wrong, and killing babies is WRONG.

I apologize for not being clear enough in explaining my opinion on abortion..But the point that I am trying to convey is that we democrats are pro-choice. So for example--lets say a woman is pregnant, what I believe is that this pregnant woman has a choice to either abort or not abort her baby, got it? Now what you believe in is that no matter what the conditions of this lady are, she still has to give birth to this baby..even is she dies in the progress. Personally, I do not think the government should get involved in what people do and don't do. And I also believe that a lady can only abort her baby is certain situations not just because she doesn't want one. Perhaps, because she is too young, or will die. :)

Sequoia Poths | 7 comments Yes, I agree that we all have free choice. However, should we as a society allow people to rob banks, destroy people's property, or even kill people because that is what they choose to do? I dont think so. Our society would collapse into total chaos. We all need rules to live by and not killing someone especially your child that is dependent on you, the mother, to protect him is the most basic rule. Do you not agree?

Yes, but with free choice for everything that we do, good or bad there is an effect. Yes, robbing banks, destroying people's property, or killing people is wrong, but with anything one does with their freedom of choice there is a contradiction. In this case this person will face a punishment of some sort. Now on the note of killing people, I think both democrats and republican are for the death penalty, so I am safely assuming that you too are for the death penalty, which is too, killing a person. Back to the topic of abortion, I believe that if a woman wants an abortion, it should be as soon as she knows shes pregnant, not when the baby is due in a couple months, but the baby is still forming..not a human yet.

Sequoia Poths | 7 comments Yes, I am for the death penalty; killing someone who has killed another person, and most likely, multiple people. And not all democrats or republicans are for the death penalty I might add. Now, when you said that when a woman should get an abortion, as soon as she knows that she's pregnant, before the baby is "human" yet, well, I completely disagree. Here is a pictures of a week old fetus.
