I am against it entirley! You're just messing up an already good thing! What about if there are side effects? What then?

Leiko Xantara (arrogant_protector) I am with it. Think of how many people could be saved with more resarch.

Shirley (discipleshirley) | 13 comments I am for finding new ways to feed the masses, but what do you guys think about contraceptive measures being handed out to all poor nations? Is that against thier rights, or is it a smart thing to do? I read in Marie Claire that rape was just 3 years ago considered a crime In Haiti.

Carlie | 4 comments Against.
Whenever humans start messing with the natural world, bad things happen.
As for the we can feed the hungry B.S., we already produce enough food to feed the world. Genetic modification is not about feeding the hungry, it's about more money for the agricultural industry that uses them. So, don't buy that argument please.

And also for feeding the hungry, if you feed everyone so noone dies of hunger, you would just be exacerbating our overpopulation problem. Besides, they're gonna die of something. What is this obsession with preventing death?

Leiko Xantara (arrogant_protector) Bella, I was talking about veggies and fruits. They are actualy able to make better food.

Shirley (discipleshirley) | 13 comments What about all the cases of ecoli on vegies this past year......whats up with that?

message 10: by Leiko (new)

Leiko Xantara (arrogant_protector) Ecoli had nothing to do with genes!

message 11: by Shirley (new)

Shirley (discipleshirley) | 13 comments Ah, but if we are not going to do anything different and keep it organic... chemical cleaning of e coli is out. yeah, not genes, but still an altertion of nature. Sorry Lye, argument for argument's sake again. I'll get back to your topic when I do a little research that I want to do.

it is no contest... no! Why do humans have to tamper with EVERYTHING? Can't we leave just one thing alone? Inhancing food is deffiantly not a good choice.

I'm sorry if you don't want to hear it, but it's the truth hands down. no doubt about it.
