Adoption Reading Challenge 2012 discussion

I'm an adult adoptee and have known all my life. I was found a few years ago at age 40 and it inspired me to write a book using that as its foundation. This is NOT a memoir or a heartstring-tugger; it's more of an offbeat, humorous suspense in the vein of Carl Hiaasen. I'm not making light of adoption, but merely using a fictional adult adoptee's bizarre background to give readers a little diverting fun.
