Karen L. Has anyone read this, Simply Jesus? It sounds good.

A. Johnson (a-charity-higgins-johnson) No I haven't... The review reads like it's been 2000 years of being kept secret(?)
Let us know if/when you do!

Hi Writer, I really liked Charles Erlandson's review
of "Simply Jesus."

Our Anglicans group read, "Simply Christian," a few years back. I will have to go back and look at that discussion.

Did you like the worship training course? I often wonder how people like online courses?

Skylar Burris (skylarburris) | 134 comments I might try it. I think I've lost my enthusiasm for N.T. Wright though. I do think he has some good points, but he can kind of drag...I don't know...no C.S. Lewis, alas, as I hoped he might be.

Karen L. Are there any other good Anglican or Catholic authors out there that people would enjoy reading?

A. Johnson (a-charity-higgins-johnson) The Falls Church Anglican has a list of recommended reading-Unfortunately I can't open the Adobe page. Can you? Let me know if you cannot & I'll contact the webmaster.

A. Johnson (a-charity-higgins-johnson) Steve Hayhow (in UK) on Goodreads seems to come up with some of the most interesting books. I finally asked him to link with me so I could see what he was reading--and he's got a brain.
He has a blog, too--it's not as up-to-date as his reading is:

Thanks so much for posting this reccommended reading list. There is some really good stuf on this list. The link worked fine for me.

And Steve Hayhow's blog is very interesting too. :)

A. Johnson (a-charity-higgins-johnson) I just went ahead and asked Steve Hayhow to connect b/c I wanted to see his books & reviews. He kindly did--and I've actually gotten some of my best recommendations from his reading list. (His blog lags behind his reading list)
