I wish that they would have told us what happened to Janina.. I know we can guess but i would have liked it if we could have at least known what happened to her.. She was my favorite character

Yes I agree. I think that my favorite character was Misha, but i can relate to both of them. My least favorite character was definitely Uncle Shepsel!

The reason why he told nothing about Janine was that she died. I honestly talked to the author in person, he said it was better for the reader to figure out. Soooooooo that's what happened if u really must have known

I think Janine died to. it was really sad that she did. But i think when the Nazi's threw her in to the boxcar she died because she was so frail.

I think that Janina bothered me a little bit... she was so irritating to Misha...
But I liked the end, in memory of Janina

Janina was kind of a brat and a copycat. I found myself rolling my eyes a lot whenever she was around Misha. Idk I just didn't like her much at all
