Hi,

I run a website which publishes short stories from independent authors as a way to engage with new readers. The first stories go live on March 25th but we welcome submissions from any indie authors.

Noa embarks on a spiritual quest to the past, so that she can learn how to build her life in the present and for the future. While each of the three women is struggling with her own issues, they are all looking for the same thing: happiness. They share a strong sense of family and of their deep roots, and are all inextricably linked to each other.

I know this is a bit different, but I don't want to plug my next book because I'm in the midst of a crisis of confidence about it! I just wanted to share - an agentless Indie author sometimes lacks the support (or kick in the hindquarters) from the publishing system to get over that 'Oh, my word, is it ever going to be good enough?' moment/day/week/aeon ...

Hi Lexie, I think we all feel that way sometimes. Hang in there, take a break to go for a walk or whatever works for you. Then go back to that stellar idea that's just waiting for you to bring it to life. You'll keep writing and reach your goals someday.

Thank you! That was kind. I'm still not sure about it, but a couple of friends have offered to read it and give an honest opinion, so I feel a bit better (I'm pretty sure it's not stellar, even so!)
