I don't really mind how it will be as long as there will be fellow readers. I don't mind taking some threads of "War and Peace".
I will join for Resurrection and War and Peace. I have voted for these two and I already own these books. I don't know why but Anna Karenina doesn't inspire me :/ It doesn't matter which one will be read first.
I don't think I could get my hands on Resurrection before April, but I own Anna Karenina and am eager to start it, so I vote for leaving Resurrection for later. Anna Karenina and War and Peace are a lot to be reading at once, so I think a third at the same time would be a little too much.I would be willing to lead a discussion if not enough others come forward. I've already read War and Peace, and I plan to follow along with the group reads from now on.
So we will read Anna Karenina, Resurrection and then War and Peace but I have to say, I might put up the threads for anyone else who'd want to comment or do discussions. They will be divided and will be placed in a different folder. I'll let everyone know Anna's reading schedules soon.

This is exactly why I want to re-read Anna. I read it about 12 years ago and after joining the GoodReads and this group I find Tolstoy to be different than the man I thought him to be. I want to know if he is critical or sympathetic towards Anna's character. And why readers either hate or love Anna.
I hope you'll at least tell us why during the group reading Terentij.

Yes, I think so. That was the plan after previous polls but when, I'm not sure.

I have already read Resurrection and Anna Karenina. Loved Anna Karanina and liked Resurrection. I will have to read War and Peace.
I've started reading War and Peace and no longer see it on the 'upcoming' book post. Are we still reading it and if so, have we openend an additional folder for it?
I'm interested in discussing in sections if others are.
War and Peace reading plans!
Neither Silver nor I will be reading "War and Peace" due to strict work schedules for next few months. Once "Anna Karanina" reading is finish Silver will lead the "Resurrection" discussion.
I decided to include a "War and Peace" reading because the members have been nominating it for a period for a long time, almost since the group began. Unfortunately, it's be really difficult to lead two Tolstoy readings at the same time.
So, I'd really appreciate if some of you like to be discussion leaders? The readers can participate. I have done it with other groups too. We had 8 voters , I'd also like to know how many of you are planning to read it if we start "War and Peace".
Type in your comments! Thanks!

I will read both, Resurrection and War and Peace but I can't read them at the same moment. So, I must only decide which one read first.
Still finishing Anna K, but will be starting War and Peace in a few days. I'll try to make it in for the discussion. :)
I've started War and Peace and am only 8% in. So far so good, but a smidge confusing.A discussion would help and I'll take a shot at it, to get it going.
I'm looking forward to the W & P discussion as well! But i need some guidance to the translation i should select to buy.I want to buy a hardcover edition for my collection -- is Anthony Briggs' translation a right choice?
War and Peace is already begun! Check the threads! Count me in, but I need to finish up with the current reading.
i was going to read war and peace but i hate to lag behind on everyone so i decided to start reading Resurrection with everyone else.

Anna Karenina - 10 votes
Resurrection - 10 votes
War and Peace - 8 votes
How would you like to continue reading? Shall we read both "Anna Karenina" and "Resurrection" at the same time or would you like to read one after the other? If so, which one would you like to read first? Do respond.

"War and Peace" will start in April 12th. It will continue in a different folder and continue as long as it gets.

My work schedules are strict for next few months and I'd really appreciate if some of you like to be discussion leaders? Anyone can nominate another or volunteer. I'd rather like volunteers. It's fun when you do it and not difficult.
