ok you know that part in the book where like 3 rouges might battle zeus posideon and hades. I want to say helen might seriously be the next zeus and orion the next hades.. idk about posideon yet.thoughts?
umm....compared to the first book this book was little bit dissapointing. It was ok, but not great.I hope Helen gets back with Lucas, that was the hardest part to read in this book.

By the way I love this book and can't wait for the third one next year.
I was slightly bothered about the love triangle (again!) but other than that I liked it. Was it one of my favourites?? No. About the three scion replacing god thing -- I think that Helen will be Zeus (duhh) and Orion will be Posideon ( because he is from that house/has thoose powers etc.) Lucas will probally be hades as the process of elimination. But I am thinking that they might not replace Hades, as Hades himself is not part of the truce... ?
I understand the drawn out thing between Helen & Lucas, but this Orion is bothering me. hes to good. there has to be a bit of baddass in him? Helen's mom is just terrible to make her think her and Lucas are related. just when you think they will find out...they hit a brick wall. bring on #3

why can't they just figure it out that they are not related already they are supposed to be sooooo smart!! one of my favorite bits would be when Helen and Orion are in the underworld and they cant remember what they are doing and Helen says "are you my boyfriend?" or when Lucas sees Helen in the corridor then flys out of the window and when someone worrys where Lucas is she casually says he jumped out the window LOL
Ok so I finally read the book, and im so in love! I ltike this series even more now. I'm extremely ticked over the whole cousin thing not being shut down yet, but I love that you can tell she still loves him way more (and hopefully this doesn't change in Goddess). But I've had an interesting thought and I was wondering if anyone had thought about it:
*** minor spoiler ***
So In the end Helen give Matt the sword of automedon because Zach wanted him to have it. But then he starts acting weird and dig in automedon ashes. I'm a little concerned what if Matt has taken on part their oath! And they went into what a big deal the sword was! I don't want Matt to go evil or die because of that jerk.
Does anyone else think this is possible? I'm comcerned lol
All in all great book and I can't wait to see how it ends :)
I loved this books so much! I did like the first book better, but only because there was a lot more Lucas in that one. I really connect with this book because I, myself, am Greek, and I am into all the mythology and stuff. I just love it when I know what the characters are talking about when they explain things.I am so scared. Part of me has this gut feeling that she is going to end up with Orion, kind of like what happened in the Trylle Trilogy. (Not going to specify if you haven't read the series, but for those that read it, you will understand.)
I really don't want things to end like that. Yeah, I know, probably a HAPPY ending for them all, but that doesn't do anything for me. I want Helen and Lucas together forever! I like Orion, I really do, but again, like some of the people said on this thread, He's too good!
I hope that everything works out for the people in the end. I really want to see Ariadne and Matt's relationship go up and more dramatic. We see Helen's of course, and Jason and Claire's...WHAT ABOUT MATT AND ARIADNE?
Well, let's just hope Goddess turns out well.
I LOVE THIS SERIES!!!! but i was waiting throughout the whole book to see if helen and lucas would get back together but now i have to wait ugh!!!!!!:)

As the only Scion who can descend into the Underworld, Helen Hamilton has been given a nearly impossible task. By night she wanders through Hades, trying to stop the endless cycle of revenge that has cursed her family. By day she struggles to overcome the fatigue that is rapidly eroding her sanity. Without Lucas by her side, Helen is not sure she has the strength to go on.
Just as Helen is pushed to her breaking point, a mysterious new Scion comes to her rescue. Funny and brave, Orion shields her from the dangers of the Underworld. But time is running out—a ruthless foe plots against them, and the Furies’ cry for blood is growing louder.
As the ancient Greek world collides with the mortal one, Helen’s sheltered life on Nantucket descends into chaos. But the hardest task of all will be forgetting Lucas Delos.
Josephine Angelini’s compelling saga becomes ever more intricate and spellbinding as an unforgettable love triangle emerges and the eternal cycle of revenge intensifies. Eagerly awaited, this sequel to the internationally bestselling STARCROSSED delivers a gritty, action-packed love story that exceeds expectation.
