Just out of curiosity does anyone watch Fanboy Confessional? Was flipping channels last night and there was a whole show dedicated to steampunk (on Space I think). Never really knew what steampunk was really until last night. It was very informative and the whole lifestyle of those featured in the show was very cool.

I'm more familiar with the literary side of steampunk, I knew there were cons and such, but actually getting such an in depth look at what's out there is really cool. I like how optimistic and well...welcoming everyone is.

TV episode was a half hour I think. It was preceded by a show dedicated to manga fanboys which was also very cool. All the costuming and role play was neat. I also agree the communities seem very welcoming and non judgemental. Just what the world needs more of.
