Fans of Amish Fiction discussion

I took a cue from our Amish friends and started my own 16 square foot vegetable and herb garden today. It's not huge, but it should hopefully lead to some fresh produce! Anyone else here garden?

I have two raised beds because we rent our house and that is all our landlord lets us do. I have tomatoes and cucumbers.

Any tips on growing them? I planted both tomatoes and cucumbers and would love advice!
