For a band quite possibly the most influential band ever, it is somewhat surprising that they only released 4 albums (there was a 5th released under their name, but it........ya know, sucked and all and the Velvet Underground was very different from the Velvet Underground that made the previous great albums)!

Out of these, my fave would be.....umm, White Light/White Heat. SOME AWESOME NOISY ALBUM! Though it should have been more loud. Oh God, what an album THAT would've been.

Anyway, if you want to get a complete overview of their awesome stuff, check out the "Peel Slowly and See" set, which includes their first 4 albums (the 5th was left off, whew!) and some other outtakes, demos, alternate versions and such.
