How did you feel about the book to movie adaptation of the Hunger Games? If you watched it, are you glad you did?

I actually did not read the book. I went to go see it last night and I thought it was good, but I didn't go crazy. I am going to read the book now because I think it would explain some things. With all of my required novels I have to read for school, it doesn't allow much free time.
I did read the books and saw the movie Saturday night (on my birthday) with a group of friends. I thought the movie was very well done and stayed pretty much on task with the books. There was one small thing that bothered me and that was the Mockingjay pin played a much bigger role in the books than the movie and came from a different origin than in the movies. But overall, they did a great job.
IK!! i wasdissipointed with the cornicopia
I was actually really disappointed, just saw it today and i just was disappointed with pretty much everything except the cast, they were brilliant but the script, the depiction, the music, or lack thereof, was disappointing for me.
haha! i was trying to pinch and punch my housemate for the first of the month but she was faster and her arm collided with my poor little thumb
well i could go and bother my housemate lima, but he's not exactly handsome and knows nothing about medical issues, i'm the one with that knowledge in our house
when i was really small i and my brother once went to the park and went on the spinning-merry-go-round-like-thing-whose-name-i-dont-know and then a bunch of older kids came and started spinning it really fast.due to the centrifugal force first one foot slipped, then another and i was hanging on like superman or something then both my hands slipped and i went flying off.ive never gone on another one of those things since then.true story.
its a roundabout! i've done that before!!! then i told my sister to do it again so i could fly off again.....i was an adventurous child :)
what the smeg is acronastics?????? i used to be able to do a handstand, but that was a long, long time ago!
smeg is a curse word made popular by a bbc comedy show called Red Dwarf so that it could be shown pre-watershed and now one of my favourite words :)

Caeser was awesome!
Caeser was awesome!
bbc stands for British Broadcasting Company, it was our first TV and Radio station back when they were invented

Maeve wrote: "hmmm.... i don't think abc stands for anything much. not sure though. i watch my29 more anyways. or fox. except i hate fox. 'cause they cancelled firefly."I think ABC stands for American Broadcasting Company (or Corporation...not sure which).
studio ghibli! i have had the honor of viewing totoro, prin. mononoke, howl's moving castle! i really wanna see some of the others!
ooh! i've seen Mononokoe, Nausecaa, howls moving castle, spirited away, the girl who jumped through time, the cat returns, whisper of the heart and i think something else but i can't think of it right now.... I LOVE STUDIO GHIBLI! :D
of course, its Sci-Fi, im more fantasy....don't like guns or spaceships unless they happen to contain anyone with the last name of Skywalker!
