Bridget How did you feel about the book to movie adaptation of the Hunger Games? If you watched it, are you glad you did?

message 2: by Bridget (new)

Bridget I actually did not read the book. I went to go see it last night and I thought it was good, but I didn't go crazy. I am going to read the book now because I think it would explain some things. With all of my required novels I have to read for school, it doesn't allow much free time.

message 3: by Bridget (new)

Bridget Did you love it? It was probably better for you since you have been a long time fan!!

message 4: by Dara (new)

Dara | 11 comments I did read the books and saw the movie Saturday night (on my birthday) with a group of friends. I thought the movie was very well done and stayed pretty much on task with the books. There was one small thing that bothered me and that was the Mockingjay pin played a much bigger role in the books than the movie and came from a different origin than in the movies. But overall, they did a great job.

Becky | 149 comments I was actually really disappointed, just saw it today and i just was disappointed with pretty much everything except the cast, they were brilliant but the script, the depiction, the music, or lack thereof, was disappointing for me.

message 18: by Dhriti (new)

Dhriti (dramaqueen101percyismine) when i was really small i and my brother once went to the park and went on the spinning-merry-go-round-like-thing-whose-name-i-dont-know and then a bunch of older kids came and started spinning it really fast.due to the centrifugal force first one foot slipped, then another and i was hanging on like superman or something then both my hands slipped and i went flying off.ive never gone on another one of those things since then.true story.

message 19: by Becky (new)

Becky | 149 comments its a roundabout! i've done that before!!! then i told my sister to do it again so i could fly off again.....i was an adventurous child :)
