This is a discussion where you can discus who is better Edward or Jacob. I personally think that Edward is better. He is more romantic, all is lines are amazing, and his not a cry baby like Jacob.

I think they are both good guys, but I prefer Edward, because I always have a thing for broken and tortured heroes. They are a lot more interesting as characters to read about. What disappointed me about Jacob is that although Bella made her choice, he was still pushing and trying to break up a couple and in BD when Bella is dying he gives up and leaves. While Edward is still fighting for her life, so I guess that in the end she made the only right choice. Love Edward, but will always love Rob more, but that wasn't the question now, was it?!!

I understand where you are coming from. If Jacob really it love Bella he would have fought to keep her alive in Breaking Dawn, and not leave like that. That's what make Edward so much more better because he was willing to do whatever it took to safe the one person he loved the most. I also thing that the reason Jacob left was because he didn't want to see her become a vampire. Overall Edward is a way better character.
