It's pretty badass so far. I'll warn you, the book is dramatically different from the podcast. While trying to keep things spoiler free, here's some of the biggest changes:
1) Aggie's contribution in the novel is very different, with his ending changed.
2) The ending of the book is different, with the big fight scene being shifted to an entirely different location. (Yeah, I peeked at the end- I couldn't help it!)
3) Robin's mentor (can't remember his name, but the guy with the southern accent) appears to have been very much demoted and/or removed entirely from the novel for the most part.
4) Black Mr. Burns gets a LOT of screen time in this book, whereas he was a somewhat more minor character in the podcast.
That's just a few of the things, so I'll warn you: view it as a different reading experience altogether. It's pretty awesome, but I'll admit that part of me was disappointed that it wasn't a carbon copy of the podcast. (Sorry my FDO- the podcast was so awesome that I was a bit sad to see that there wouldn't be a sequel to that specific version of the story! Although I do like the changes!)
