I'm sure some of these are a repeat of above... Just wanted to give a boost for that extra challenge you need to read this month of April.
1. In honor of the saying, "April showers....." Read a book with precipitation on the cover.
2. It's time for spring cleaning. Read a book which has a cleaning product in the title.
3. Be Kind to Lawyers Day is April 9. Read a legal thriller or a book with a lawyer as the lead character.
4. Tax Day is April 15. Read a book which has an author with a first or last name beginning with "I", "R", or "S". OR Read a book that you really have not wanted to read, but someone highly recommended it to you.
5. Pigs in a Blanket Day is April 24. Read a book where the protagonist is a cop who lives in cold climate.
6. Dance Day is April 29. Read a book with a form of dance in the title or on the cover.
7. Honesty Day is April 30. Read a book that can be considered a guilty pleasure. You can be honest here; no one is going to judge you.
8. Iris Johansen (7), Janet Evanovich (22), Sue Grafton (24), and Lisa Unger (26) have birthdays in April. Read a book by any of these authors.

1. Read a book with flowers on the cover
2. Read a book with one of the following words in the title (rain, drizzle, storm, thunder, lightening)
3. Read a book first published in April (any year)
4. April Fools! Read a book that you think the cover does not match the description; or a funny book.

11. Gathering of Nations Week-Read a book that takes place in either Russia or China.
12.No Housework Day-Read a book where the main character is a stay at home mom.
