Last year, I finally read The Secret and The Power by Rhonda Byrne. I found these books very inspiring and motivating. I recently purchased her newest book called The Magic. In her books, Byrne presents simple ideas about the way our thoughts and emotions can create our reality. Basically, the books focus on positive thinking, love and gratitude and emphasize that we attract things and circumstances into our lives. The law of attraction has been presented by other authors but never with the far-reaching effect that Rhonda Byrne has achieved through her best-selling books and popular films. There is a lot of skepticism, but I believe there is a lot of truth in this idea. I've tried it and I could see a difference in my life when I am aware that my thoughts and emotions are impacting how I see the world. It's something worth looking into - these books & films may very well change your life for the better :-)

I liked The Power better than The Secret. I'm sure The Secret was a knockoff of ideas already presented by Hicks, but Byrne presented The Law of Attraction in a very easy to understand and appealing package. I haven't read any of the Esther & Jerry Hicks books, but have heard them referenced often.

Nora aka Diva (DuctTapeDiva) | 500 comments I have quite a few books(for years) by the Hicks that cover all that, so I wouldn't bother with another, but that's just me.

If I had experienced the Hicks books before Byrne's books I would probably feel the same way :-)
