+Anima Terms

Anima: Anima are humans who have the power of a certain animal within them, giving them their animal's ability. One can only become a Anima if they are a child, so it would seem at first, and it's not limited to certain events; most Anima come to be due to near-death experiences. However, some are genetically altered. Some are born as Anima, but this case is rare. The Kim-Un-Kur tribe is an exception, where it's implied that Anima originated from the lot. Anima seem to disappear when a child becomes an adult, or when they no longer need it.

Kim-Un-Kur: A group of people who lives in Moss Mountain with the exception of Senri. They believe that being an Anima is a gift from nature and keep their Anima. Kim-Un-Kur are considered to be enemies of Astaria.
