What did yall think about the Bush shoe-throwing incident?

I thought it was funny as hell!

I thought it was extremely random.

And then I actually started thinking how sad it must be to -be- Bush, knowing that a majority of the world doesn't like you, and someone would actually go to the extent of throwing their shoes at you. Has to be hard on the self-esteem.

I could go on and on about Bush and about things I disagree with and agree with, as well as other world leaders I think are irritating...But I can't even begin to talk about political stuff because I get irritated far too easy.

Yeah can be dissappointing and irritating to think about Bush and his administration. But the only thing I was thinking of when that shoe was flying was, "Where are the secret service agents?!" Hahahah aren't they supposed to jump in front of bullets? Are shoes not included?

Oh!! OH!! Yeah, my co-worker and I asked the exact same question.

Rudy | 2 comments Think of the implications in the future. The 3 million attendees of Barack Obama's inauguration on January 20th will have to check in their shoes at the gate before entering the mall. From now on, people attending parades will have to go barefooted. You'll have to get a special license to wear shoes. There might be the National Shoes Association with a powerful lobby in Washington upholding man's right to bear shoes. Hummmm?
