Rhonda Byrne's latest book is about using the magic of gratitude. I haven't gotten very far in the book, but here is a place to express gratitude.

We can find things all around us to be grateful for from big things to little things. You may write in very specific or general terms about what you are grateful for.

For example you might post: I am grateful that a kindness was shown to me today.

or for the same incident you might be very detailed: I am grateful that aunt mildred brought over my favorite sweet potato pie and it had marshmellows (i don't know how to spell this - those white puffs of sugar) and pecans just like I like and she brought this just special for me because it wasn't even my birthday or nothing, but she woke up and said that a little voice told her to bring me some sweet potato pie and poke a needle in her eye and she said she only listened to the first part of the voice and she can still see out of both eyes and when she brought the sweet potato pie over it was just the right hotness for eating and me and Mildred sat down and ate this treat together and then I walked Mildred home through the forest and we sang songs and the birds sang along and the butterflies landed on our shoulders and we picked wild flowers and when we got to Aunt Mildred's cabin the woods I put the flowers in a vase to show my kindness and gratitude to Aunt Mildred for bringing me the Sweet Potato Pie and I am grateful she didn't put a needle in in hers or nobody else's eye.

This is just an example of how you can use this gratitude thread any way you want to express your gratitude.

Today I was grateful that I woke to birds singing in the trees outside my window, that always starts my day out happy and peaceful and I'm grateful at night when the crickets sing to me too.

I'm also grateful for the time i had with my dog who sadly died earlier this month-he was almost 15 and i'm grateful that he was a part of my life for as long as he was. miss him terribly though

I am grateful that my dad lets me use his truck. Today this enabled me to drive up the street to go hiking for 3 1/2 hours during which I walked among trees and creeks over rocks and bridges and I climbed a mountain and I turned back around and I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills and the landslide brought me down.

I am grateful that we have Pugs in this world because they make me so full of happiness. I think Pugs are really angels of Love.

I'm very grateful for my job at the small chocolate factory where I have worked for one year now. This is really a place that fits my personality. It is a small independent business where silly rules are not dictated by corporate. In the past year everything I wanted has come to me: My job, My Scooter, I recently bought my own little Condo. Thank You to the Universe :-)

Thank You! Thank Goodness I have finally found myself - it's only taken 3 years since my divorce.

I'm grateful for my health, my family, my friends, my fiancee, my pet, Nature, life itself!

I'm Thankful I was able to go on a nice, short & peaceful hike near my house yesterday :-)

I'm thankful that my fiancee got a raise yesterday.:)

I am thankful that my two adult children came home and spent the weekend with my husband and I. We had a great weekend!

I'm thankful for my late Uncle. He passed along so much to me: his sense of humor, his love of books, his love of horror films, and his adventurous spirit. I miss him dearly.

I am grateful for my sweet, funny, best pal and companion Bandit. Life with him is full of adventures from our walks to swimming to bath time and just hanging out. Now he depends on me more with his cataracts I help carry him down the steps and I help hoist him into the car, but I wouldn't change a thing.

I am grateful for my relationship with my Higher Power.
