Jaime the Wizzard (wizzardofxxxx) | 36 comments It was fabulous! I'll have to stay up late to watch the next one, but it's totally worth it. Y'all crack me up.

Keep drinking and being awesome every time!

ETA: If Bonny really wants to find and identify all the 'steamy' scenes, she should get an e-reader. The search function is very useful in those cases ;)

Parts of the book? Parts of the episode? Can you be a little more specific?

message 7: by Keith (new)

Keith (keithatc) Apparently there are a lot of gay werewolf books, and 97% of them went with the "shirtless abs dude" cover. I can't speak tot he quality of the stories themselves, but the world of self-published ebook urban fantasy really needs more than one graphic designer

message 8: by Gregory (new)

Gregory i loved this episode and i managed to watch this one live.

Manuel | 8 comments I have to get up at 5am for this hangout and it's worth it every time! So much fun, laughs and smart discussions. But it's a weird start for the day drinking red wine at 5am. :)

Keep up the awesome job ladies!

Laraerinyahoo.com | 1 comments Just wanted to say thank you for doing this show. I LOVE it. I am an avid reader with a thirst (no pun intended) for anything with a little smut in it. You are all fun and honest with a twist of geeky and please continue your charming endeavors.

the part about guys being easier. honestly we guys are attention whores when it comes to courting, but if the fish is jumping into the bucket, why waste worms and time?

Grace (gracewasse) | 2 comments Lots of fun the third episode. I made up some stickers and an exchangeable book dust cover based on the VF logo, but would like you to see it before I print one out. I'd like your approval since you guys made all this awesomeness! Where do I send it to?

You are not alone. I had to get up at 6am to watch it live, but it was all worth it.

Kamil | 938 comments but thinking about the 'device" veronica showed us, it has few uses i could think off.
let' say a woman is driving her car on a long journey and she needs to use the restroom, but she's in the middle of nowhere miles from anywhere...
option a: she hides in the bushes and risks being slashed by a man whith a cleawer instead of a hand (true story)
option b: she pees into a bottle, using the device to make sure she won't spill a single drop on the seats.

Raquel (ubergeekygirl) | 19 comments Just finished listening to the show. It is great. I've avoided this genre mostly but I've just bought both book so.. I'm in for this naughty ride.

You guys should read some stuff by Vicky Lewis Thompson. She wrote The Nerd Who Loved Me.

Great job.

David I have read the entire Psy-changeling series including the short stories in the anthologies she is printed in and a few that are on her website. I have already pre-ordered the next release and can't wait until may for its release. The great thing about reading a long running series late in the series is you have a lot of reading, the bad thing is catching up, did the same for the xanth series a few years ago, lol.

I have to agree with felicia, Slave to Sensation pales in comparison to the other books in the series. I have noticed with other series I have read that authors may "dumb" down the first book, almost, to attract a lower reading level reader, because usually by the third book they are up to at least 10 grade reading level, hehe....

Anyways love the group, the show - you gurls rock - and the great reading material. Maybe one of these days I can put the book down long enough to catch the show live. *wink

DJ

Ps. a good read for this group is Dragon Actually, which is the first book of the Dragon series by G.A. Aiken and it is great because there are two stories.

Heather | 17 comments I've read most of the books in the series. Just finished the one with Hawke and Sienna. I was really digging the side romance with Walker and Laura (I think it is) because Walker isn't an Alpha, but more laid back and stuff -- and I have a huge soft spot for those kinds of guys irl (one especially). I was disappointed when they finally got down to business and Walker suddenly, out of the blue, gets all dominant. Bleh.

It's not that I mind the Alpha thing, I just get tired of All Alpha ALL the Time. I'm in love with the Psy-Changeling world so I keep reading when I would otherwise get Alpha overload and not bother.

Would it be possible to list all the books/authors recommended in this hangout in the youtube description? Pretty please with sugar on top? :D

Jennifer (thebooknympho) I just finished up this book on audio today. It was ok. I hear that the series gets better.

I was at a book trade show the other week, found a publisher of mostly glbt lit and they informed me they have more gay werewolves than you can shake a stick at. Just need to dig out their business card to share it with the group.

Tegan (joggiwagga) | 276 comments So I picked up a book in the middle of the Psy-Changling series. Totally was unprepared for the sheer amount of hot monkey sex that was going on in comparison to the first book. And I'm quoting the book when I say "hot monkey sex." So if you were disappointed with the first one, I can tell you at least book 6 they get it on like bunnies.

Fifi LaFleur | 1 comments First book was lots of setup. I've read up to book 6 of the series and I can say, by my standards, Caressed By Ice and Branded By Fire are both good reads and very very sexy.

Sandra (whatlovelybooks) I thought this book was pretty interesting with the Psy's abilities and cool eyes. Kind of refreshing to read a non-human getting together with a shapeshifter.

The sex scenes kind of just stop toward the end of book though. Also, I hate books where the main guy gives the lead lady a nickname, like kitten. She's a badass telepath, not a helpless tabby!
