Rose put the bowl down on the floor next to a bunch of pillows. She threw herself onto the pillows and changed the channel.
Carter sat and thought"They are probably saying bad things about me." she grumbled
then she thought of her secret spot under the willow
ill go THERE !!! she thought smiling
no one would find her there
she limped out the door and picked up a long thick stick a s a crutch
Luke followed her into the together room "Carter?" he asked
Luke sat down with a sigh and took Nom and Nam out of his jacket, watching them play. He sighed
They kept on trying to pin eachother down. Luke laughed. "Ferrets are so funny." he said, watching them
He called in Moffy, and he scooped up the ferrets. They all laid together on a beanbag. "We must look soooo weird... ferrets dog human" was his last thought before he fell asleep
Mary Claire jumped on the sleeping boy giggling. Kara gasped and tried to get the 3 year old off of Luke.
Moffy jumped up and circled around her, growling. Nom and Nam spazzed out, and Luke woke up. "Wha....?" he looked around.
Kara looked at the animals and raised an eyebrow. She was finally able to drag a reluctant Mary Claire away from Luke. "I am so sorry! It's time for her nap and she is a stinker pot unless I rock her to bed!"
Moffy barked, and Luke looked her way, alarmed. She had been kicked out of the K-9 elites because she was too agressive. "MOFFY!, relax" he said. "Wait what?" he said, turning to Kara
"I'm sorry about Mary waking you up," she repeated trying to keep the 3 year old away fro that dog, afraid she would bite her little Mary Claire.
"Don't worry, I called her off. She's actually obedient." he said, petting her in between the ears
"Does she bite?" she asked still restraining Mary Claire who pointed and said, "Dog!Doggy, can I pet him?"
"only if I tell her to" he shrugged
Alice walked into the together room
Alice looked around and saw no one,What are we supposed to do know?

Kara let go of Mary reluctantly as she pulled the dog into a hug and said, "What a cute puppy!" Kara smiled and looked at Luke, "I'm Kara."
"What do you want to do Donner?"
"Hi Kara!" Luke said. Moffy nuzzled her hand
"I don't know" Donner said
"OK lets go." She turned to head to the library

Mary giggled and started to kissed the dogs fur.
"I'm Luke" he said. "and that's Moffy, and they are Nom and Nam"
"Do you ever get the ferrets mixed up?" she asked
"Nope" he said, scooping them up.
"May I hold one?" She asked smiling at the ferrets and then quickly added. "As long as they don't bite."
"you can hold one if you want" he said, holding out Nam and scratching Nom on the head
"Are they boys , girls or one of each?" she asked getting Nam and cradling the ferret in her arms.
((uh…?)) "one of each" he said "you have Nam, the boy"
((Hmm?)) " Are they twins?" she asked
((I haven't thought about it)) "more like a couple" he said
"If they ever have babies and you feel like you can spare one. Send one my way." she said petting the ferret .
Luke didn't really react "maybe" he said his voice dropped to a whisper "but maybe when the toddler-I still don't know her name- is a bit older"
"Mary Claire and I think you are right. She is the type to love an animal to death."
Luke nodded "so do you have any pets?" he asked
"Mary,"she joked patting her blonde hair.
"17" he said "just turned" he looked at her "what about you?"
