Lush Library discussion

I know I'm a couple of days early but I've started reading this today and am loving it so far.
Anyone else ready to start reading it?

I wasn't going to read this, but I've had a look at some of the reviews and now I'm really tempted. Would you class it as fantasy (because fairies and goblins aren't my thing at all!) or is it more of a human story?

Well I'm only on page 119 but so far it is definitely a human story, not a fairy or goblin in sight ;)

I had a bit of a shopping frenzy this evening on the Book People website (so cheap!) and bought a copy. I'll start it once I've finished Life of Pi :-)

Finished! I liked it very much, it's a simple story really but I thought it was beautifully written.

Is anyone else reading this?

Mine arrived yesterday :-) I just managed one chapter this morning but I'll get on with it this evening when I get in from work.

No, it's great that you're discussion leader - I wasn't sure to ask as I've not done this sort of thing before so it was a relief when you stepped in! I'm loving The Snow Child and may even finish it tonight if I can stay awake long enough :-)
