R. Ferguson (RAlanFerguson) | 1 comments Hi David, I think that there's no point in joining a Q&A group if I don't ask at least one question. So I guess my question is: What first influenced you to write your first novel?

It was something I'd always wanted to do but never thought I'd have the guts or the patience to actually go through with it. So one day, after watching the music video to Kylie Minogue's "Can't Get You Out of My Head" I suddenly had a brainwave; a brilliant idea for a novel. I started writing it down at my local library and didn't stop until I was half way through and realised the book was garbage. It did start me on the process though, and the next book I wrote I actually finished (that's called The Time Sensor, unpublished as of yet; it needs more editing). I'm not sure whether I answered your question....I think I just HAVE to write, full stop. I have to get get the story out of my head.

Dysto (dystodancer) | 1 comments How are things going with your books on Amazon? What has been the reader feedback to your stories?

They're not doing very well, which does hurt a bit, but I expected it to be honest. There are a lot of new indie writers out there. As for reader feedback it's been about 70 percent positive. The first negative review almost made me chuck in this writing lark until someone pointed out to me that even the writing greats receive negative reviews and they try not to let it get to them. So I'm going to soldier on and write and write, no matter what people think. Thanks for your question! It's brightened up a usually boring Sunday.

Meghan Loves M/M (mm_reads) | 1 comments I bought this book in Feb 2012!! I thought it was an excellent YA dystopian novel. Just a reminder that https://www.amazon.com/Fall-God-Slaye...
now has 148 reviews and carries a 4-star rating these days these days (2021). Not bad at all!

So I'm glad you soldiered through to third book. It was a gripping series. There was some crying involved, LOL. Haven't double-checked but did you add a 4th book?

Thank you for sharing it with us!
