An ISBN is the number that identifies your book from other books. It is your book's fingerprint so to speak. Here is a good site to learn everything you ever wanted to know about ISBN numbers.
http://www.isbn.org/standards/home/is...
The International Standard Book Number (ISBN) is a 13-digit number (it was a 10 digit number, but was recently changed to 13-digits) that uniquely identifies books and book-like products published internationally.
As an ISBN is in reference to published books...I would be curious as to why "fandubs" would require an ISBN?
well thankies for the info... Gosh! I really do learn something new everyday...My teacher was actually right!
i always wondered why teachers need books to tell them the answers even tho they teach the subjects & we hv 2 memorize them...
Hey Now...teachers are human too...honest! The downside of teaching in our current education system is that many teachers "have" to stick to a specific agenda. It is a state law. Thus, they have to "go by the book."
The more rebellious teachers, are the innovators. Those that find a way to make learning fun!
Oh, and BTW, I am not, nor have I ever been, a teacher, but I do know several men and woman who are teachers. They teach because they love what they do...'cause they sure don't do it for the money nor the glory :]
my 5th grade teacher once commented tht babysitters make more $$ than him, basically doin the same thing...
Hey Jay Jay,Shame on your teacher...as good teacher is more than a babysitter, he/she expands your mind, makes you want to learn...makes you excited about going to class :]
Hey Toli,I remember a couple of "great" teachers...mostly in college. Especially my English Profs.
Oh, and my fencing instructor...now she was a great teacher of life lessons: Before a match...always put on protective gear :]
Yet, I too can recall many, who were "just babysitting." Which is such a shame.
At my school, there are very few great teachers, but my favorite one ever I don't even have!(right now) Her name is Miss. Hoxey, she is the best for so many reasons...
